Damned shame we can’t do anything about it, since regulation is communism or something.

Well, I think we don’t have anything to worry about as long as we don't give them our DNA for some sort of database thing.

Yep, private companies have our best interests at heart. Evil regulation is wrong.

Nobody cares. COPRA was introduced in the Senate several weeks ago and no one besides privacy advocates seem to care if it succeeds. Shit, I bet more than 80% of the American public even understands what should be the basic legislative priorities when it comes to consumer data protection.

The government is too busy doing the same thing to your phone to bother with regulation anyway.

Next time you stop for a train at a crossing, just get out of the car, chuck your iPhone into a passing hopper car, then smirk at how bad you burned those bastids.

In 2021 we'll find out one of the vetted partners was Cambridge Geolytica.

Doesn't matter. Cops are tracking your movement with the Vigilant System.

I was talking to my insurance agent last week and she mentioned how I could save money by downloading this app designed to help with driving-while-using-your-phone.

Since this was a big problem for me several years ago, and I'll catch myself doing it every now and then, I downloaded it. After a few trips, I noticed it was tracking everything. The miles I drove. Where and when I was traveling, which means how fast I was driving. How long I was there.
