Why?  Because twitter is mean to me.

He's on his way out the door.

President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he would appoint former White House aide Kellyanne Conway to the board of visitors of the U.S. Air Force Academy.

The president also announced the nominations of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and Lynn Friess, the wife of Republican megadonor Foster Friess, as members of the board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union, would be named to the Library of Congress Trust Fund Board, Trump said.

Quote

The news came in a list provided by the White House of more than two dozen intended appointments to “key administration posts” — consisting mostly of seats on panels including the National Cancer Advisory Board, Puerto Rico’s Financial Oversight and Management Board, the Community Development Advisory Board, and others.

Trump rolled out a similarly lengthy roster of appointments last week. He said he would name Pamella DeVos, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’ sister-in-law, to the Kennedy Center board of trustees, and Brian Hook, the former U.S. special representative for Iran, to the board of trustees of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

It was wrong of him to walk out, but I believe that was a Medal of Freedom. Medal of Honor is quite different. You can still kick him, though!

A pardon for you and a pardon for you and who else will trade for a pardon? I make the best deals! You, too, can make The Pardon List! $9.95 and look at what you receive: a pardon signed by Donald J. Trump, regardless of any crime committed.

Just more cover for himself.  He'll jest about it and then pardon himself saying he needs to pardon everybody he's met since the witch-hunt is out to get him.  The difference is that they have evidence on him and not everybody else because the others haven't committed crimes except for his inner circle.

Does Twitter have someone assigned to monitor his account?  Seems like they would have to to keep these disclaimers going up so fast.

I started reading his tweet, and got to "ALL Data taken" and thought..."holy shit, he's going to use the term correctly as plural.  What a weird twist for 2020."  Then nope, he wrote "says" not "say."  It was a small thing, but I really thought he was gonna do this fun little twist to make me think he isn't borderline moronically insane.

MEDIA IS SAYING THE DATA SAYS ITS FIXED.  THEIR NOT WRONG!

Trump would be the President whose motto is Profiles in Carnage and think that's a good thing. COVID, domestic terrorism, it's all good to him.

TexAgs Politics talking about how the military is preparing to step in if the courts/state legislatures don't rightfully give the election to Trump.

I don't think we're at a point of seeing that, but it does make me think that most the GOP would not protest if that somehow occurred. If they're not speaking up with Trump trying to strong arm state leaders to flip the election, is it really a stretch to think that they wouldn't act the same if the military stepped in?

Is there really any doubt that Trump won't ask this question of his defense secretary? After all, if you approach this from the direction that Trump had the election illegally stolen from him, shouldn't the military protect the US from domestic enemies that are attempting a coup? Obviously we know there is 0 evidence of illegal votes but that is not what Trump wants so he thinks otherwise.

There would be a few brows furrowed. Susan Collins would be concerned. The vast majority would be cheering it on.

And as we know "bookies" always decide elections.

From the guy who managed to fuck up a sportsbook in New Jersey.  Seriously, that's like being unable to make money selling coke to strippers.

So, the bankrupt casino guy thinks he's the (White) House and therefore can't lose? HAHAHAHAHA. Elections aren't the slots, and comparing the voting machines to your rigged gaming is just a little too Trump Family Mafia obvious. He rigged his machines so he cannot fathom a free and fair vote yielding an outcome with a tally that is complete.

I am reminded again that the actions of the GOP are what you would expect from people desperately trying to avoid going to prison.

The enablers must rationalize that abuse of power and overthrow of democracy is the best thing for the country because it's the best thing for themselves who know what's best for the country. What they need is what I want.

How far would do you imagine a criminal would go to avoid prison?

Probably wrote a script. Everything that he posts is a lie at this point.

Can't wait for them to retire the bot on January 20 when they delete the fatass's account.

The NTSB report said it was a manufacturing defect, but guess who was under investigation for money laundering and just a few months prior to the crash had been ordered by the NJ government to stop making casino deals. Trump later blamed the deaths on why his business was going under, but the FBI started its investigation prior to the crash.

Maiden name. Of the Lamps of Omaha, place of her birth. Wiki has an interesting anecdote regarding 'Ginny.' Apparently when she was a Congressional Aide she fell under the sway of Lifespring ( a self awareness group). She later came to decide that it was a cult, and joined the Cult Awareness Network. In an interview she remarked, "I was once in a group that used mind control techniques"; and she called its members "pretty scary people."

Traded one cult for another. Some folks need that self awareness that a self awareness cult just doesn't give them, ya know?

It would be interesting to know if he was under audit or investigation by the IRS for some time.

The usual course of these things, AFAIK, is that the IRS pursues taxes due, first, as a tax or civil matter.  Only when it becomes apparent that the tax dodge was intentional or otherwise criminal does the DOJ/US Attorney get involved.  And that's after IRS Criminal Investigation Unit is involved.

SEC stuff is similar.

Trump, for all of his pretend bravado, is a fucking coward - if he were going to try and get the military involved, he would have done it before now, but Milley has already made his stance known.  Given the DOD has made it clear they are staying out of things, he would be Bigly Embarrassed when the military does nothing and John Roberts swears in Joe Biden next month.

Trump is fundraising though.  Like I mentioned in another thread (or this one), he has started appointing all of his cronies to various federal boards and commissions over the past week or so.  That's the kind of shit you do on the way out of office.  KellyAnne Conway to the Air Force Board of Visitors, etc.
