Happy '20's everybody. My resolution is to get through this backlog of beer I've hoarded from the past decade. Started tonight. Gonna be a good year.

Super fucking bummed if the Petrol Station rumors are true. So many beers and memories there over the years.

InBev, but that’s a great beer name

I've had a few of your beers and would put them up against the stuff I had there yesterday...if not better tbh

Did you get me some?

Looks like its official: Big Bend sold off their Tejas lineup and is gonna be brewed by/owned by Gulf Coast Distilling

(not that anyone on here cares)

All I have left in the fridge are stouts. Youngest offspring drank the last of my Berlinerweisses and HenryJames didn’t get me any Jester Kings.

So I had to settle for this.

Can’t believe I just found this thread, I’ve been on a NEIPA kick lately.

wtf is Gulf Coast Distilling? what brands do they make? their page claims they’re the biggest distillery in texas. does Tito’s and Deep Eddy not make their shit in Texas? very confused.

well i guess i could have googled their brands. never heard of a single one of them.

question for you austin area HEB shoppers: does this claim from the distributor about Tupps sound like it could possibly be true? i would think ABW and Live Oak would outsell Tupps by huge margins.be995dd9f8821c4d1cf39a2dd286b07c.jpg

Over the last few months if a lot of people switched their purchases of ABW and LO to the brewery directly?

It looks like this claim is specifically about sales at Central Texas HEBs though?

But I'm not seeing it.  LO's packaged beer sales are actually up since the beginning of the coronas.  And I can't walk down a beer aisle at HEB without tripping over a ton of ABW product.

I'd be surprised if this were true, unless they have a really wonky definition of "Central Texas HEBs."

I really like TUPPS but I don’t think I’ve seen anything other than Juice Pack at H‑E‑B. To get their really good stuff (DDH series) you have to go somewhere else like Sunrise.

I could read that as #1 local (to McKinney) seller in Central TX HEBs. So they’re not comparing to Cen Tex breweries.

it’s from an austin based distributor

I enjoy the Tupps IPA's I've had, but damn I struggled through a 4 pack of one of their stouts. Had a really odd aftertaste.

Well shit then. At mine they do have decent shelf space and seem to always have a stack of IPAs at the end cap or something. As utee said, ABW probably has the most inventory/shelf space.

Fuck all of you. We don’t even have shitty HEB’s here in Dallas.

Gimp H‑E‑B is best H‑E‑B.

Man I really hate that HEB.  But it used to be way, way worse.

Houston Burbs HEB, checking in.

Would kill for better LO selection or any ABW. Usually just BrazosVB on the shelf, not sure if they’re aggy, but feels like aggy when I buy their stuff.

It’s been way too long

I also missed the last 4 pack of Haze Not Hate by 5 minutes. That’s a bummer, man.

Beef ribs just finished on the BGE.

I got some fresh Double Art Car this time and it was so much better than the six pack I got at the first release.
