Also, for those wanting pics of the daughter, there you go.

Back in the saddle after the night off?

Absolutely.  My liver was crying for punishment.

Happy '20's everybody. My resolution is to get through this backlog of beer I've hoarded from the past decade. Started tonight. Gonna be a good year.

Is Maine worth seeking out?

This is my first but it’s very good.

Drinking a cold glory from Austin Beerworks, pretty good stuff. Been on a bit of a lager kick recently.

Standard wheat ale at Ten Sleep Brewing, Ten Sleep, WY. Pretty solid.

This salty lady is actually a little too salty IMO.

Pretty sure you’re keeping Martin House in business.

Probably the only person buying it.

I poured out half of the glass.

That was not good.

Moved on to a Jester King IPA.

So what’s the deal with the yellow sludge that collects in Houston Haze and Heavy Hands?

Both beers are top notch but that residue is a little off putting.

The Walrus IPA. Roadhouse Brewing, Jackson WY.

An excellent companion while waiting for my wife to finish enlarging the credit card bill.

MvB gets released today.  Looks like I know what I'm doing for lunch.

Anyone had the JK dry hopped saison? Opinions?

anyone have any bock recommendations?  preferably texas, but i'll branch out.  had crawford, celis, shiner, toadies, probably a lot of the others too but let me hear what you got please.

That pretty much covers it. Not a lot of bocks out there. You’ll find more luck with Doppelbocks.

Ziegenbock.  It has a Texas on the label so it must be a Texas beer.

Can I use you as a proxy?

Sure.

Somehow I don't see this working out well for me.

Only Texans get it!

So funny it was worth posting thrice.

Skip the MvB and get the Moderne Dansk.

Ordered some of those a few weeks back. Haven’t opened them yet.

This muleing is expensive. Have to split with my son so it basically costs double.

Texas Leaguer Brewing’s Knuckle Bock is really good. It’s in cans at a lot HEBs and Krogers around Texas.

Thanks my man.  The HEB on Whitestone has it.  I'll pick some up this weekend!

That shit cracked me up the first time I visited Texas

just had a Hissy Fit, from Bitter Sisters out of Addison.  Pretty damn tasty and smooth marzen style lager.
