December 15, 20205 yr Always solid. Still not a single fucking sixer at any of my usual stops. There's usually stacks of it at HEB. This is some bullshit.

December 15, 20205 yr Author It was good, but this was the first time I’ve had it. More bitter than I normally like though. What was wrong with the last one?

For the first few releases, it was truly an Imperial Electric Jellyfish but with more alcohol, grapefruit notes and milkshake hazy. The last release was closer to an average homebrewd West Coast IPA. It probably shouldn't have been released under the Nomura name.
December 15, 20205 yr PHP Burnet just released a few remaining 4 packs of Nomura so I just grabbed a couple.
December 15, 20205 yr We’re going to do a gofundme to get you a proper glass.I like those mugs. [emoji3064]
December 16, 20205 yr Any thoughts on Independence's Southern Hemi? Grabbed a 20 oz can at my local stop and really liked it. Doubt I'll find anymore around here though.

December 17, 20205 yr Went shopping Started with the Stone, not bad, but I'm certainly not drinking more than one in an evening.
December 18, 20205 yr Damn. 3 Floyds is closing its brewpub. Still brewing beer though. https://www.nwitimes.com/business/local/3-floyds-permanently-closing-munster-brewpub/article_62e5cb85-9670-5387-a025-d4ee5a83040d.html?fbclid=IwAR3VGww5hJxkfvH7y87sqMy5GwN-lYMks7Z0ZFwTeuUMkTZThpLp048_Fts#utm_campaign=blox&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social
December 18, 20205 yr This may be my new favorite brewery. Every single beer I’ve had from them has been a home run.
December 19, 20205 yr Been at my sisters place in Boston for the last 4 weeks so lots of different beers to try. Stumbled across this shit tonight at the neighborhood grocery.....pretty fucking good. Singlecut Brewsmiths is the brewery.
December 19, 20205 yr Another tasty beer from my local (Dallas) and just up the street from me neighborhood brewery Vector Brewing: their triple IPA Pain Rain Also, though I’ve had numerous beers from them since they opened earlier this year, this was the first time I’ve had their pizza. Not only a very tasty pizza but bonus points for working it a strange Golden Girls reference into it:

December 19, 20205 yr Damn. 3 Floyds is closing its brewpub. Still brewing beer though.this makes zero sense to me unless there happens to be a severe shortage of restaurant space in munster, indiana. if they own the real estate, its impossible to make sense of. if they lease, there has to be someone willing to pay to take over that is a better bet to succeed than an absolute 100% fail-proof concept (on the other side of covid). just don’t get it.

Didn't they start construction on that massive expansion? I can only assume it would be temporary as that place was always packed with a wait.
December 19, 20205 yr Holy moly. Not usually a fan of flavored beers but this German Chocolate Cake Stout from Independence is rocking my world.
