Happy '20's everybody. My resolution is to get through this backlog of beer I've hoarded from the past decade. Started tonight. Gonna be a good year.

Drinking to what could have been, Notre Dame

Oh yeah. Think I did the same thing last year as I’m too reliant on my “participated” threads via Tapatalk.

Home brewed single malt single hop ale. 2 row malt, slight amount of Amarillo hops for super mild bittering, then we hammer it with a bunch of Amarillo at flame out. It’s really light, clean grain body, but it’s aromatic as hell with lots of hop flavor and zero bitterness. I named it Basic Bitch. Not all of our home brews work out, but this shit fucks.

Tried a 2014 Black Ops and 2015 Madame Rose tonight.

Black Ops was gross. No carbonation and was very syrupy. Tasted like molasses and wood.

Madame Rose was divine. I've had Madame Rose fresh and this was far less sour more sweet. Still had good carbonation. Tasted like sour cherry pie.
