April 24, 20205 yr So Howard and Haselwood are potentially out vs Texas with injuries, and Bridges potentially out with a suspension. Still have Rambo and Wease, but that's not nearly as potentÂ

Not trying to be doom-and-gloom but I wouldn't be surprised if Foster has already given OU a verbal. Roach (or one of the other 9.95ers) had Milroe on his podcast recently and Milroe made no mention of him actively recruiting Foster. Seemed like an odd omission since Milroe had always mentioned pushing him hard in past interviews.
May 3, 20205 yr I'm having a hard time believing that - despite his red-ass mother - that Foster winds up a school whose track and field program is so lame. If a compromise school is his destiny, surely it will be for a strong throwing program.

Per his mom he has not committed in any way to anyone, and was amused by all the OU crystal balls after his impromptu visit to Norman. I think OU has a slight lead, but UT, TAMU, and Oregon still right there. LSU not so much now.
May 3, 20205 yr If blowu is truly in the mix for Foster, his throwing career and Olympic aspirations are definitely secondary to him.
May 3, 20205 yr OU and Oregon are recruiting him hard as a thrower - track coaches on calls with football coaches. Texas and TAMU - not so much. More reluctantly agreeing to track time off. Get the feeling it would be Oregon by a mile if distance was not a factor. Excellent track program and he has always been a fan of the football program.

May 3, 20205 yr Foster should talk to Texas shot put  national champion Tripp Piperi if he’s serious about throwing. 4th Longhorn to win a shot put championship in the last several years.  Had a good shot at Olympic team.  He’s the latest in a long line of greats, including two Longhorn Olympic gold medalists in Ryan Crouser and Michelle Carter.

One of the more athletic-second level defenders in the the country. Very physical football player, quickness, awareness, balance, power, tone-setter type player.
