January 6, 20205 yr Just saw this 2018 release on Starz. John Cho and Debra Messing in a missing person mystery involving a teen girl and slowly solved by her father (Cho) and detective (Messing). Social media and digital "breadcrumbs" are the primary tools used to solve the mystery. Like Unfriended, it is entirely shot or viewed through computer or smartphone screens. Made on an $880k budget. Twisty plot, maybe a little hokey, but pretty damned decent. 7.6 on IMDB. I rather enjoyed Unfriended, the first movie shot entirely on Skype (or Facetime) screens. This is better, though.
