Know how I know Sarah is truly dedicated to the eradication of Socialism?

Even her eyes aren't equal in her eyes.

I know this will never happen, but would love Biden to say something like, I know the Arkansas governor has said she wants the federal government to stop at the banks of the Mississippi, and feels that federal assistance is nothing more than socialism. However I am president for every citizen and I care about all of you more than the political grandstanding she exhibits. Therefore I am authorizing federal dollars to help in this situation over her expressed opposition. She can refuse these if she'd like, and I will let you know if she does. If she accepts them, then that tells you pretty much everything you need to know about her as your governor.

I think I'd go with irony.

Governor Huckabee has requested federal funding and other assistance for the terrible destruction that has befallen her state. The federal government should be an agent for collaboration between the states for the common good. I'm sure Governor Huckabee and all Arkansans are glad for the help from their fellow citizens just as they would want to help if this had befallen another state.

Federal help is on the way, Sarah. What do you say to your fellow Americans?

The average Arkansas citizen isn't smart enough to understand what irony is, much less see recognize it when it's used. I actually think my statement is too nice. If really prefer him to start with, you governor is a fucking idiot...

Bullshit. It's the way the well water used to taste before we changed out all the pipes to the house.

Don't give them a fucking dime.  Elect stupid governors, win stupid prizes.

Did nobody clue in Huckabeast that Arkansas is one of the most federal funding dependent States in the USA?

while I am inclined to agree, the reality is I live in Texas and I'm likely one event away from our govner needing to do the same.

How much she can eat

what do admire most about Gov. Huckabee-Sanders?

"Uh, I was once in a Golden Corral and the manager came out and told her, 'Sign say All-You-Can-Eat and I say 'That all you can eat!'..." /johnpinette

Her ability to see around the corner of a hallway while standing in the middle of the room.

I always kind of forget about Sanders, she’s one of the characters in the MAGA cinematic universe that just doesn’t have a compelling storyline. I do think their Arkansas is the appropriate fifedom for a lazy-eyed hill harpy, so she’s at least sticking to some plot consistency.

She’s proving the stereotype of how insecure a lot of Republicans are - Trump, Elon Musk, etc. they want everybody to like them.

I admire how as press secretary, she never really had an press conferences yet somehow parlayed that into being a governor.

I think "like" understates it. They want sycophantic fealty.

I admire your humility. I admire your heroic efforts in the War on Pronouns. Fight on brave soldier!

Ron and Sarah are trying to outdo each other to see who can do the most insane shit and still get re-elected because the Republican voters are fucking idiots.

Her mortality? She will shuffle off eventually - that’s the best thing I can say about her.

I bet she can fit an ass load of m and m’s in her mouth

This ploy to make parents provide government-issued IDs to various third-party companies to access social media is fucking brilliant.

If a Democrat were to say you needed a government-issued ID that you had to provide to some company to use parts of the internet, Republicans would lose their fucking minds.

But it's cool in Utah and Arkansas and it's cool to have to provide an ID to view porn on the internet in Louisiana, and all the while, the big-ass databases that track everything we do online are getting some fantastic user data that is actually verified and they get it for free, and/or may even get paid to help "verify" people.

Way to go Republicans!  Rather than protect user privacy, let's piss it away even faster, and make sure that companies get to see your IDs while you're at it.

Of course it's in fucking Florida.

Asking for a friend, but how does one go about using a squirrel as a deadly weapon?  I know they have those little claws but you have to catch the fucker first, this Sarah-lookalike doesn't look that nimble

Step away from the squirrel. This is our final warning or we will fire at you!

Be sober, apparently.

Quote

44-year-old woman allegedly beat and stabbed her husband with a ceramic squirrel on Christmas Eve - because she was furious that he returned home without beer.

Her 41-year-old husband had gone out to buy some beer late that evening, but due to the shops being shut for Christmas, returned home empty-handed, a police report said.

Enraged by the lack of alcohol Helen Ann Williams, from South Carolina, allegedly set upon her husband as he made a sandwich, hitting him over the head with the decorative object then stabbing him in the chest.

Link from 2013

Oh, ceramic?  That's a very misleading headline then.  You make it just a household decor item from Hobby Lobby, and not a live squirrel...that just takes the 'Florida' off of it.  Bummer.

When I learned how to throw a slider finally in high school, I got a few relief appearances.  And coach would say, "Put a little English on it."  I forgot about it until decades later when my cousin used to come over to shoot pool with me and he'd comment after a short shot, "Gotta put a little English on it."

Now when I read all the crazy shit happening in every corner of this country, all I can think is "Put a little Florida on it."  Even if you agree with the politics of people like DeSantis and Huckabee-Sanders, I don't think most conservative Americans around the rest of the country realize how fucking insane life is inside those state borders.  It's fucking nuts.

I can't fucking believe what happens when I drive 60 minutes outside of Austin to the West, East, or North.  Shit gets weird, real fucking quick.

She must be nuts.

Whoever wrote the squirrel caption should win a Pulitzer. The world needs that caption. What a laugh there must have been in the control room.

Holy fuck, those salutes, it's like "hey, let's shit on the vets by doing this stupid fucking salutes that look like shit and would make any vet cringe!"

What in the Saturday Night Live did I just watch???

Ain’t no one alive who wants any of those ditchpigs on a coozie.
