Little supercell spun up in Lamar County earlier today and pooped out a little weiner nado. Every redneck in the county drove out to get pics of it and it's all over my facebook (former hometown).

Weird little hailstorm just popped up over NB. We heard thunder, saw nothing on radar, then all of a sudden 5 minutes of pea sized hail.

Here is the NWS from 11:15 and then 11:20. They really did just “pop up” out of nowhere.

ya damn hail chaser😄

Not really / not much.

Even before the "social distortion" thing, I wasn't much of a door knocking / hard charge salesperson.

Any dents in the roof of a car parked in the driveway?

Saw a report on NextDoor of high wind knocking around a house in the 78620, not too terribly far from me.  Winds were pretty strong around 0230 (I was up doing ...documents... & stuff).

Storm Prediction Center has upgraded DFW to a moderate risk of severe storms tonight, the 2nd highest level.  Luckily most of the tornado and hail risk is further to the northeast, but DFW has a higher probability of straight line winds tonight (and gay line winds, too, if we're being honest.)

report in motherfuckers in DFW!  Frogs are singing like crazy down here in Austin, so I'm expecting flooding.

Looks cool coming in.  I just got a wintry mix alert for Rowlett @80 degrees.  Took me a sec to realize my app was picking up hail.

I notice wfaa weather radar uses darker colors than my other sources, making things look worse than they are.

I have an app called MyRadar that does that.  Two of my other apps are a tad less hysteric.

Heard the tornado sirens turn on briefly here in south Fort Worth. Very still, very muggy with lots of thunder and lightning. We’ll see what happens when this line moves through.

If we got any hail, it was indistinguishable from big heavy rain and melted pretty quick.

Just a big fairly hellacious rainstorm here, but no limbs down, even.

Really coming down in Belton not far from the lake. I heard lots of hail earlier, but didn’t see it, so I suspect it wasn’t too big. But it’s really dumping a lot of water on us.

Seems anticlimactic in 78731.  Some thunder, but not much in the way of heavy rain (0.23" so far).

Yep.

Started very windy and just noise and drizzle here in south Austin.  But rain started picking up in last ten minutes and my gutters are almost overflowing suddenly.  This thing is supposed to go until about 8/9am right?

This blew through too fast.  We could have used more rain.

It's tapering off downtown, but it rained hard for half an hour or so.  There's some localized street flooding at 5th and Guadalupe.  It's nothing serious, but water is over the curb and on the sidewalk.

Estimate on how much we got? It started raining as my sprinklers were set to go off so it's likely the bypass got triggered so wondering if we got enough.

Nothing but wind in NW SA.

Everything keeps missing us to the north and east. It's going to be a brutal summer if this keeps up.

Ended up with .8" in 2 hours.  Most of it coming in a 30-minute window at our home in South Austin.

South Austin's Mom got 8" in 2 minutes.  Most of it coming on her in a 30-second window.
