Sue Foley deserves a mention as a player grounded in Texas blues even though she's technically Canadian.  I think her playing has matured a great deal since she first hit town.  She has grown into a very rhythmic style of riffing that I dig. 

Plus, she's looking better than ever.  (Is that sexist?)

Shit . . . I didn't know that guy was so good on drums.  Big groove.  Not very deep, very on top of the beat, but he's really solid.

This guy right here is a Texas blues legend that you don't hear much about.
