Love that Aaron Rodgers went into yesterday’s game on 499 TD passes. He threw 0.

He got benched in the game and Tyrod Taylor threw 2.

Josh Allen was his usual self and threw 2.

Michael Trubisky got into the game in garbage time, threw 1 pass, for 69 yards (nice) and it was also a TD.

4 QBs got into that game and Rodger’s was the only one to not throw a TD pass. lol.

On top of that, getting sacked 4 times, Rodger’s caught and passed Tom Brady as the most sacked QB of all time (that only counts post 1963 stats). He does have a chance to catch unofficial record holder Fran Tarkington at 570 (Rodgers is at 568).

I, too, have hated Aaron Rodgers’ whiny ass since his Cal days

I just wanted to follow up on this because I wondered who’s next on the list that’s still active. And that answer is:

Russell Wilson at 556

Rodgers got his 568 in 20 seasons. Wilson has been through 13 seasons. Matt Stafford is 3rd at 502 in 16 seasons.

But I have to ask - WHAT THE FUCK on Wilson? This guy was described once upon a time a time as un-sackable. His stats say anything but. He has the shortest career of almost anyone in the top 10  (Matt Ryan is also at 13 seasons but almost 80 sacks fewer). I just don’t get it.

I do want to be clear. I want Rodgers to go out there for week 18. Get sacked 3 times and throw 0 TDs. An interception or two would be nice as well.

Aaron Rodgers is like kryptonite for the legitimate Ayahuasca-Ketamine Movement.

Yeah, alternative medicine is cool, but be careful with it.  Standard medicine doesn't know everything.

By the same token, standard medicine knows a whole hell of a lot more than Aaron fucking Rodgers and the rest of the merry band of dipshits.

Worry not, homie. Aaron inspires only laughter and derision. The “legitimate ayahuasca-ketamine movement” was tongue in cheek.

Jets are being proactive before he burns down the franchise by going full Kanye during one of his vision quests.

Maybe there’s a future for him creating a buddy show with Favre on Fox Nation.

He gives mustaches a bad look

I would think the NFL would be done with him by now.  Why bring in a an old, mediocre QB that still demands the diva treatment?  And you know he’s guaranteed to do or say something that’s going to create a controversy, thus causing a headache for the team that signs him.

The only situation I see a team signing him is if the team’s established starter is injured and out for the upcoming season.

Can't really think of a team that can reasonably convince themselves that they're only an above average quarterback away from being great AND has coach/GM combo established enough to take on that risk/drama. Minnesota?

Rodgers can get you fired in a hurry if things go sideways. Better to pickup a young, cheap guy that buys you a couple of years of patience from the organization and fans.

With Minnesota, you would be getting into Rodgers vs Favre comparisons plus playing Green Bay twice a year.  And Green Bay is the better team.  Not sure Rodgers would want that situation.

Aaron mimicking Brett's career and life path almost to a tee is oddly poetic.

I just saw the regular season final standings and Minn was 3 games better than GB.  So I probably erred saying GB is the better team.

Numerous Teams Express Interest In Aaron Rodgers Playing Elsewhere

Numerous_Teams_Express-NIB-PH.jpg?resize

NEW YORK—Leaping at the opportunity to make their intentions clear, numerous NFL front offices expressed interest this week in quarterback Aaron Rodgers playing elsewhere, sources confirmed Tuesday. “Aaron Rodgers feels like he could be a great fit for the culture of other places,” said an anonymous NFC general manager among the flurry of teams across the NFL frantically stating their commitment to keeping Rodgers off their roster. “We immediately reached out to his agent to improve our chances of keeping Aaron Rodgers as far away as possible from our franchise. This puts us in a much better position than many of the other teams in the league who now risk acquiring the former Jets quarterback because they waited too long to make an insultingly low salary offer or mock his weird beliefs and idiotic conspiracy theories.” At press time, several NFL teams reportedly entered a bidding war offering high draft picks to any franchise willing to suffer Aaron Rodgers.
