May 17, 20205 yr I thought this was pretty interesting: Kinda making excuses, while also acknowledging the better man clearly won the fight. But I do like hearing about the behind the scenes details. Edited May 17, 20205 yr by youdunnf'dup

May 17, 20205 yr Seminole has been the star of this event. I've heard of it but never seen it before. Damn, that's a great looking course. And it looks playable for spares like me from the white tees.

Quote The full lineup: Featherweight: Chris Gutierrez vs. Vince Morales Bantamweight: Louis Smolka vs. Casey Kenney Flyweight: Tim Elliott vs. Brandon Royval Light Heavyweight: Jamahal Hill vs. Klidson Abreu Catchweight (150 pounds): Billy Quarantillo vs. Spike Carlyle Flyweight: Katlyn Chookagian vs. Antonina Shevchenko Strawweight: Mackenzie Dern vs. Hannah Cifers Lightweight: Brok Weaver vs. Roosevelt Roberts Welterweight: Kevin Holland vs. Daniel Rodriguez Heavyweight: Blagoy Ivanov vs. Augusto Sakai Welterweight: Tyron Woodley vs. Gilbert Burns Holland just fought last Saturday.
May 24, 20205 yr I consider myself more than just the a casual ufc fan, so it’s very rare that I’ve never even heard of one of the guys in the main event of a show. But I’ve never heard of Gilbert burns.
May 24, 20205 yr blagoy is a very durable heavyweight, who always looks like he's crying. got major scar from being stabbed almost to death
May 24, 20205 yr Yeah like most of ivanovs recent fight have been boring as fuck that have gone the distance. Doesnt really make for a memorable HW.
May 26, 20205 yr Author Can’t really argue with Usman here. Quote "This is what I have to say: Both [McGregor and Masvidal]," Usman said. "Both guys are champions of Twitter, talking s--- on Twitter. In the history [of MMA], who has ever said no to a title shot? I'm that guy. I'm the boogeyman who these guys are saying no to a title shot against. And they better remain quiet. "Jorge Masvidal, you had an opportunity on April 18, May 9, June and now July. You want to fight Nate -- a fight that wasn't even competitive. And Conor, you said you wanted to be the king of the 170-pound division. Now you're quiet. So you know what? Just remain quiet. I've given both of you a shot and none of you have taken it."
May 28, 20205 yr Never been a Woodley fan so I hope he loses, but I'm not sure Burns is ready for this jump in level of opponent yet. Side note: The welterweight division is filled with a massive amount of douchebags
May 30, 20205 yr Author Gotta love this reporting. Quote Every fighter on the card made weight, including the co-main event competitors. —— Brok Weaver missed weight by 1½ pounds, coming in at 157.5 pounds for a scheduled lightweight bout against Roosevelt Roberts (156 pounds). The bout will go on, with Weaver being fined 20% of his purse due to the weight miss.

May 31, 20205 yr Who y'all got in the main event here? I don't think Durinho can win a decision and he doesn't knock many people out. I feel like his only path to victory is a submission. Woodley can knock fools out, but Durinho's only been KO'd once. So, Woodley by decision, right? But can Durinho even go 25 minutes with a guy like Woodley? I don't think so. Woodley by TKO in the late rounds.

May 31, 20205 yr 50-44 on 2 cards...damn. Woodley looked really bad. And Burns speaks better English than any other Brazilian I've heard
May 31, 20205 yr At least Woolley didn’t give up until the last round this time, so he’s got that going for him.
