But I also think there's a good chance that Izzy can make himself very hard to hit and score points from long range, and if he survives the first two rounds, Costa will gas and Izzy can win a decision fairly easily. But man those first two rounds are gonna be dangerous.

August 19, 20205 yr If Costa doesn't go full Romero and actually attacks he is going to fuck Adesanya up.
August 19, 20205 yr Adesanya is going to have to be a master matador. He has it in him, but one or two mistakes...
August 22, 20205 yr We actually have an ESPN card at 7:30 tonight. https://www.espn.com/mma/fightcenter/_/id/401221825/league/ufc
August 22, 20205 yr Ryan Bader got his ass whipped and lost the Bellator light heavyweight belt to some Ruskie. Bader looked really old, but the Ruskie is pretty good. He's trained by Fedor
August 22, 20205 yr Crackstream and buffstreamz not cooperating RN 👹 Edit finally got it going on crackstream Edited August 22, 20205 yr by Dennis Taylor
August 22, 20205 yr Damn...Jones probably on the wrong side of a 10-8 first round, arguably could have been stopped...then stops the dude in the second.. Ruskie was pissed at the stoppage lol Great fight Edited August 22, 20205 yr by Dennis Taylor

I could see adesanya counter punching the fuck out of Costa all night and ducking the heavy shots. But this is easily his toughest matchup, and it’s why he’s talking so much shit. He knows that.
August 23, 20205 yr Fucking awesome comeback by Rodriguez. I had just got back to the house to see that.
August 23, 20205 yr +900 underdog with the TKO. You don’t see that very often. One of the biggest underdogs to finish a fight in UFC history.
August 23, 20205 yr God that was a brutal elbow, straight into some brutal ground and pound. Good night.
August 23, 20205 yr Wouldn’t mind seeing Munoz win this fight so bantamweight stays a clusterfuck at the top of the division.
August 23, 20205 yr Just tuned in for the first time tonight. who is winning this main event after 3?
August 23, 20205 yr I have it 2-1 Edgar with a very competitive 1st. The tide started to turn in that third though. Most others seem to have it 2-1 the other way.
August 23, 20205 yr 3 hours ago, JohnnyRage said: Probably not the winner. It was a weird fight to judge. Frankie was kinda piecing him up with those combos, but you could tell Munoz was just walking straight through them. Plus Munoz definitely had the “octagon control” they always preach, and he clearly did more overall damage. I thought Munoz won, but nobody got robbed. Let’s put it that way.

August 23, 20205 yr over 2/3rds of media and fans had it for munoz. i found that strange. all the rounds were close. nobody got wobbled. nobody got a knockdown - except frankie lost balance from an early leg kick. nobody looked to lose stamina. the numbers were almost exact even. face damage looked exact even. and even for octagon control, it wasnt advance vs retreat, but rather frankie edgar strafing. so if it comes down to an eye test, frankie looked sharper, quicker, landed more combos, and had take downs. round by round basis, scored it easily 49-46 edgar, though the fight as a whole is closer than score indicates Edited August 23, 20205 yr by 52-80
August 23, 20205 yr The eye test is someone was getting beat up, and not sure if they could have finished another round. But yes, a very close fight . And props to Edgar's effort.
August 23, 20205 yr I'm thinking back to the major controversial fights, the Holloway and the Jones - Reyes. There the loser had the opponent stunned or wobbled or retreating more than once. This wasn't like that. Munoz hit him with single shots but Edgar ate it the same way Munoz ate uppercuts.
August 29, 20205 yr Really should have linked his insta on this cause it has his caption of "I'm ok" If you know his insta then you will get it
August 29, 20205 yr Or you could have fucking linked it. Makes me laugh that you almost go out of your way to never embed anything.
August 29, 20205 yr 'Saturn' Ion Cutelaba...that's that guy got too cute in his last fight with the no rope rope-a-dope, and the ref stopped the fight. What a terrible post.
August 29, 20205 yr Prelims at 5 on ESPN, main at 8 on ESPN+. https://www.espn.com/mma/fightcenter/_/id/401221826/league/ufc

That’s impressive to get kicked off two separate cards for testing positive. And this fight will probably go well... Quote There have been other issues with COVID-19 on this card, as well. Alex Caceresis fighting late replacement Austin Springer, who was just officially signed by the UFC on Wednesday. Giga Chikadze, Caceres' original opponent, tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week, per the UFC. Chikadze was replaced by new signee Kevin Croom, who then also tested positive for COVID-19, according to Croom's manager Jason House.

August 29, 20205 yr New chick was awfully excited about her W. Smaller Apex ring tonight, so hopefully plenty more finishes.
August 29, 20205 yr 3-3 on finishes. That might be the most color between tats on two fighters in UFC history.
August 29, 20205 yr lol he's corny, but I've always liked Alex Caceres. Looks a lot different without the afro though. That was kind of his thing.
