January 25, 20205 yr If this Pliskova/Pavlyuchenkova match goes 3 sets it may become one of the longest womens matches ever.

All the Americans have underachieved and the NextGen still refuses to step up. It's super lame. I was pulling for Tennys last night over San Querrey, because it looked like Tennys rushed into a thrift store right before the match and grabbed the cheapest items that fit before rushing to the tennis centre [sic]. Apparently everything he was wearing said “LETOUR”, so maybe they were freebies from a Tour de France promo event at a local pub.
January 25, 20205 yr Author I’m a big Karolina fan, she bounced yet again. Kontaveit fucking bageled Bencic in the first.
January 25, 20205 yr So the ladies 2, 3, 6, 8, and 10 seeds are out before the 4th round. 1 and 7 are through to the 4th with 4, 5, and 9 yet to play. Women's tennis.
January 25, 20205 yr Bellis already down a break in the 3rd. C'mon girl keep fighting edit: down a double break Edited January 25, 20205 yr by perfectchaos007
January 25, 20205 yr I always pull against John Isner. He is a blight on the sport. Edited January 25, 20205 yr by Napoleon
January 25, 20205 yr Full Kyrgios on display. Some brilliant tennis. Some absolute stupidity. Some shithousery. It's wonderful. Fifth set with Khachanov after being up 2 sets to none.
January 25, 20205 yr Now they're heading to a fifth set tiebreak. Khachanov has only lost three points on his serve in the fifth set.
January 25, 20205 yr Khachanov won a point on Kyrigos' serve to go up 8-7, Kyrgios wins the next two points on Khachanov's serve and then finishes him. Good shit.
January 25, 20205 yr Love the Kyrgios! Hope he can recover in time for Monday night's match. I'd love to see him take down Nadal, but I don't think he'll be able to recover enough to provide much of a test.
January 25, 20205 yr Yeah. This was the longest match of Kyrgios' career and he looked totally gassed. I don't know if he's in shape enough AND has the composer enough to win.
January 26, 20205 yr Sakkari’s tight bubble butt got an early break on Kvitova, but I don’t see that cute little Greek can “handle the heavy hard deep balls coming at her” (as the color announcer stated) like she did against Keys.
January 26, 20205 yr Author Petra wins. Now we got the real one coming up, Kenin/Gauff. ESPN ain’t mad at that.

I get that her parents both are Russian, but she must have only played with Russian kids growing up playing tennis in Florida.

Sharapova was coached by Bolloteri I believe and Anisimova is also coached by an American. Maybe that has something to do with Sofia having more of an accent?
