Even though i'm sure he'll be on a minutes limit i'm still pretty pumped to catch his debut. I just wanna see him do something spectacular.

starts off with an errant pass followed by a really nice dime for the assist to Ingram. NO is going to look real dynamic once he jells with the team.

Damn, he's big.  Bigger than normal.

I don't know if the # is 15, 20 or 25.  But he''s going to have to drop some lbs.

I’m reminded of how much of a beating Mark Jackson is. He is truly the worst commentator out there.

LA just missed putting Hayes on a poster, then Hayes went down and scored on LA...who proceeded to demand the ball/score on Hayes. And again he demands the ball and draws the foul on Hayes. That was fun to watch.

Zion hits a big three and then follows it up by converting the lob on the next play.

edit: pulls up and hits another three, and Alvin Gentry pull his sub back to the bench!

Zion is going the fuck OFF!!! 13 points in about a minute and a half. shit!

Zion's PER is 38.25

the O/U on his points last night was 12.5 iirc , surpassed in a short time.

Hell of a debut from Zion. Up there with rookie MCW scoring a quadruple-double and dunking on LeBron, or even Linsanity.

His shot looks terrible but he hit them.   He will get plenty of wide open shots like that as teams will back way off him.      Made some nice plays too.    Still looks way out of shape but that was somewhat expected with him not being able to run until relatively recently.  It will be interesting to see how he is worked into a larger role since the team had been playing very well without him recently.

Unreal how thick Zion is (phrasing!). It is downright freakish. Only other hoops star I could compare it to is Shaq or Barkley.

That said, it might serve Zion well in terms of longevity to trim at least 20 pounds, especially how high he flies. But who knows? His tendons and joints might be just as robust as the rest of him.

i'm pretty sure he's going to shed 10-15 lbs over the next 3-5 weeks of getting back into shape. the fact that he's legit overweight and not in shape right now is downright scary.

Yup. 285 is what I’ve seen. Needs to play around 250-260 otherwise it’s just too much wear and tear I would think

I think Duke listed him at 265. And even if he was he still needs to lose weight. It’s just unnecessary, especially given the way he plays, to carry that weight.

if he stays healthy and actually develops a real pull-up game/3-point shot, he will be this generation's LeBron. This are big if's, but got damn this kid is talented.

#48

Yeah, he’s going to be Lebrun level.  This dude is dominating grown NBA players coming off an injury and still getting in shape.  A guy that big should not be able to move the way he does... especially at age 19.

#49

He's a walking $1B industry if he stays healthy as long as LeBron has. Only way he does that is to lose that 15-20#.
