Let's look at the bright side: Future presidents and health leaders are going to have a crystal clear case study of how not to handle future pandemics.

Welp, it finally happened. I snapped in public today. I went into work for a bit this morning because I’m trying to figure out the safest way to host physicians we are recruiting given our CV-19 sit

  • I don't really know what to say anymore tbh. What happened last night is hard to put into words for anyone who hasn't worked in a hospital healthcare setting. Just unreal. Everyone is getting fucked.

assuming any of us survive

We handed our treasury over to a guy that claimed bankruptcy multiple times and won't disclose his taxes, gave control of the military to someone with multiple deferments and somebody that was proven corrupt and a liar was held unaccountable.  WTF did we think would happen?  Really, it could be worse and this is prob foreshadowing of what could begin with another four years of this moron in charge.

God only knows where we would be if we had seen her emails.

Just the other day she was talking about how she handled SARS when she was Secretary of State.  One problem, the SARS outbreak occurred in 2002 and 2003.  She was Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013.

Point being? That this admin has so poorly botched addressing this issue that people are left wondering how to protect their kids and do so in the only ways they can think to do (no matter how misguided)?

She mistakenly said SARS when she meant Swine Flu.

it's just so sad to see where we are now. we used to be the country everyone looked to as a model in these times. our awesome scientists would have come through and saved the day with a vaccine and everyone goes back to their lives. hell, there would probably be a movie made with Matt Damon or some shit. we are not even a shell of our former selves. we're the dust left behind

Dude, this virus only broke out about a month ago.  You don't just snap your fingers and create a vaccine.  If it was that easy we would have cures for every disease known to mankind.  And we are still the country everyone looked to as a model in these times.  As of yesterday there had been 1020 cases reported in a country with a population that will be right around 350 million after the census is finalized.  Compare that ratio to practically any other country on earth.  Turn the goddamn media off.  If the media actually told you how good we have it in this country compared to the rest of the world no one would ever have a reason to watch them and they know that.  That not only applies to this virus but to every supposed shortcoming the U.S. has that they won't shut up about.

Oh yeah she's a Democrat.  She doesn't lie.  She just mistakenly says.  Kind of like Joe Biden and his 150 million people being killed by guns or Brian Williams backing up the math on that stupid tweet.  Those are always honest mistakes because no one who is a part of or supports the Democratic Party ever, ever, ever lies.  How often do you say Trump mistakenly says something?

wrong, this virus has been know about since December. I know a vaccine can't be cooked up in a matter of days. the rest of what you had to say is just flatly dumb. sorry, but it is

1020 cases reported in the US... with less than 50k tests ran so far. The CDC isn't even telling us how many folks its tested. The White House is issuing directives to people working on the response that all the PUBLIC HEALTH information is classified.

And you might want to let the president know that you cant just snap your fingers and create a vaccine. He seemed pretty sure about it being the silver bullet a week ago.

So?  Unless you test every single person in America whether they have symptoms or not you can't figure out how many people have contacted this testing or no testing.  There will be a substantial number who get a mild case and just assume it is a stubborn cold or run of the mill flu.  They will stay home for a few days until they recover and not worry about what they had because they felt whatever it was it wasn't bad enough to go see a doctor about.

in other words "if you get this thing in the next year or so, t's & p's and good luck!"

A month ago? Then why is your boy bragging about closing the borders to some in January. The virus started last year. And, when you limit testing, you get low numbers. Wow, look how low the number of infections are in the U.S. All hail emperor Dotard. Other countries are higher because they're testing everyone who has symptoms, or comes in contact with anyone affected.

Well, sure, after the libtards at the CDC shot down his brilliant idea of using the flu vaccine.

we have the capability to test 100 people a day in the entire state of texas.  that's up from 20 last week.  we can't test everyone with symptoms.  that's the point!

Please address the following question. I have zero confidence you will because your pattern is to make claims and when confronted with contrary facts or context, to disappear.

So, here's the question if you are up for it:

Do you think the fact that we are doing far less testing than other countries impacts the number of reported cases?

Oh cool, let me just get over that pesky cold or flu and then go see my parents or grandparents and tell them everything is fine.....cause it was just a pesky cold/flu. Let me not change anything because I want to be willfully ignorant and possibly spread the virus to those fighting cancer or other major issues. Its ok though, cause its just a pesky cold/flu. You are dangerously dumb.

Do you think it is appropriate for the President to:

- say that it will just go away in April ?

- say that we will have a vaccine soon ?

- put it into the context for the full year run of the common flu, indicating this is not as big of a deal as flu ?

His stupidity, and yours, are making this worse.

Holy shit fuck.

The more people you test who may have the virus, the better grasp you have of the scale of the problem and the more information you have that you can act upon to mitigate the effects of the outbreak. Why does this need to be explained to you?

That's why I have about 3 or 4 people I keep friends with on FB only to have a touchstone of what you're dealing with in regards to society as a whole that you don't come into contact daily. A touchstone of stupidity, if you will.
