we need team names for the little plates that go on the side of the trophy.  and obviously we need a trophy with enough room for those 10 and more to come.

Also I want to trade a starter for a saver.

Yeah, Hader would have been good but we went with Colome

was the deadline today or some shit?

I had like 6 offers today alone.  Guess everyone was just ready to get something done.

Agreed. Only 3.5 weeks (~24 games?) left to make some moves.

That said, Severino is on the block now if anyone is looking for a catching boost.

Armin and Jason. It’s been a pleasure. Good trade.

My team ERA just went down by 0.45 in one night LOL. Great night from a bad team (though maybe the rookie I rolled the dice on with my Derka trade is the real deal).

i did just notice that after this trade posts tonight, Aubrey Huff's Suicide Watch will have 3 active pitchers left.

I need a good 2B since once Bregman comes back I have to shuffle things around.  Goldschmidt the most available to move

Albies will be back soon, and when that happens i'll have room to move either him or Merrifield.

If he could time that with Bregmans return that would be superb

If I get one more email from Kamala Harris or Joe Biden or Pelosi I’m gonna burn your whole team down @henrygandorf

this seems like a good chance to blame the covid.  so i will.

truth is i haven't been "out" since march.  anywhere.  seriously.

I’ll text you.

dropping Ian Happ when the Cubs/Cards series got canceled and then neglecting to pick him back up was just a dynamite move by me. 👌🏼 and now Nelson Cruz and Teoscar Hernandez are hurt? shouts out 2020!

Speaking of bitches, I'm back to my old tricks.

Kris Bryant plays like Kris Jenner

just a blanket statement to everyone trying to dump their good starting pitching on me: i'm not going to give you one of my best everyday players for a guy who is going to play four more times this year. even Shane Bieber has limited trade value right now. I'm definitely not going to jump stupid for your SP3.

You leave Mr. Bieber out yo damn mouth.

Is that why you wanted Grienke for BA .159 Albies?

lol, as if the BA he accrued in the few games he's played this season is indicative of his talent/future production. he just returned from 6 weeks off and his first game back he went 3/6 with a bomb, three runs scored, 3 RBI, and a steal, and he plays at the weakest/most shallow position in baseball. i was offering you a steal in Albies for a good, not great pitcher who will pitch four more times this year. your loss.

i'll bet you that i can add a random SP from free agency on the four days that Grienke pitches again this year and match his production with them. good luck adding a 2B like Albies from...anywhere.

sorry for what might turn out to be a quintuple post, but i'm on a roll here going down this "nobody in this league seems to understand the impact that a 60 game schedule had on SP" rabbit hole here. so let's keep going!

you describe Albies as ".159 BA Ozzie Albies." I describe him as a 23 year old All Star 2B who last year led the league in hits while scoring 102 runs and racking up 24 HR and 43 doubles, again, at the most shallow and weak position in fantasy. his value isn't going anywhere but up. now let's look at Grienke.

Zack Grienke is a 36 year-old SP on a team that can't score runs, and unlike Albies, who still has 20 games left to play, Grienke has already played more than 2/3 of his season. He's got 9 starts under his belt, and in his last four starts (so nearly half of his season to this point) he has an ERA of 5.09. LOL at you turning up your nose at Albies over a "era over 5" Zack Grienke.

Schoop and his .285/25/8/23 seem to be doing just fine

Jonathan Schoop: ranked 9th among 2B for the year; 0.86 PR15; -1.67 PR7; meh. another guy whose production can be matched/exceeded by exclusively playing the FA/WW.

I’m so sad we only get 60 games worth of this trash talk.

I responded in kind.

Ok so what can I get for SP? Nothing? Or maybe Albies?
