I've never listened to Hannity's radio show before. Is it always just newsbreaks and buffer music?

No, it's usually much worse.

Edit: he is an absolute hack. He was run out of Atlanta on a rail back in the 90s he was so disliked. His schtick is unlistenably bad, with stupid impressions and hysterics. Then he tries to temper it with his aw shucks I'm just a good ol boy America lovin' country fan.

No, he usually talks non-stop.

Yeah it wasn't the clearest explanation.

The identity of a client might itself be privileged if its mere disclosure would risk revealing confidential communications.  If, for example Cohen only handles NDA's for trysts with porn stars (i.e., he doesn't offer legal advice to anyone else for any other reason), then the mere identity of his clients might be privileged.

Before it gets washed away in the Hannity revelation: it's shitty that they published the name of the girl who that fat fucker knocked up.
That's bullshit.

So, what's her name?

Meanwhile, on Texags:

Now that it's public I'll bet Hannity has his lawsuit filed against the DoJ, the SDNY attorney, and the judge who signed off on the warrant by end of business today.

Smart move libs. You violated the 4th amendment rights of one of the most powerful conservatives in America. A guy with not one, but two media blowtorch platforms daily. Oops.

So what's a Special Master?

Lulz. Still no mention of Hannity on the Fox News state run website. Must be seeking Putin’s permission first

Edited by JimmyJames

So how much money have the Russians funneled to Hannity through shady real estate deals? I’m putting the over under at 5 million but I’ll take the over.

Probably more than Alex got for purchases of his bullshit supplements.

Hannity show back on after loooooong commercial and news break. Now playing instrumental music again. Like shitty 1980's casio sampler music.

Back to Trump talking about Iran and Russia ad for Hannity.

Here’s what I don’t get AT ALL.

The Dossier is back in the news but all anyone can talk about is the piss part.

Seems like the MICHEAL COHEN part of the Dossier, which describes basically TREASON in pretty good detail, should be front and center in the media.

But nope, NO ONE is talking about that.

Seems odd AF.

To be fair, nobody in the media has spent as much time on all this as you have...

This Cohen guy isn't a real lawyer, is he? I mean, he's just a dumb guy who pretends to be a lawyer for other dumb guys who don't know any better, right?

It's in the WSJ article linked earlier.

Many arguments going on between lawyers telling him to shut the fuck up and producers telling him to get the fuck back on the air.

Greatness.

Did they refer to her as the strippers attorney, cause that's how they have it on foxnews.com?

That just helps him sneak up on them.

Sweet Jesus.  I can't help but visualize that as the title of an impressive 8 foot oil painting hanging in the National Gallery in a couple of years.

The fact that it's being required here is because a court found probable cause for the subpoena to issue in the first place, and that bar is HIGH when it's an attorney's office being subpoenaed (as has already been discussed).  It makes me nervous when that happens, but it's also appropriate that the bar is high.

Some legal talking heading in the past week said they did not know of any of these cases where the attorney wasn't subsequently sentenced to prison.

You're not wrong, but I hate this reverse-whataboutism. Who gives a shit what they would be doing? Plenty to focus on regarding what IS happening.

FYI: this was always a favorite Hannity tactic.

Shitty it may be, but that does not change the fact that The Rules have gone into effect and you have not obeyed them.

It's not so much the "whataboutism."

What's really fascinating is the projection.  Almost everything Trump and the Trumpkins rant and rail about....is something they've done or are doing.

At this point, I'm terrified that they'll start ranting that Hillary sold nuclear weapons to Iran....because that would mean that Trump sold nukes to Iran.  Seriously, if they accuse someone of something....they did that something.  It has become uncomfortably uncanny.

You miss the point. It’s not about whataboutism. It’s about the constant lamenting a the mainstream media and the Democratic Party. Everything they accuse others of doing, they are in fact doing

So what will be the actual fallout from this? Fox News has zero credibility with basically anyone who doesn't already watch it. And this story will have zero effect on those who do. Cohen is/was Hannity's lawyer. Given Cohen's practice seems to revolve around NDAs to cover up questionable or embarrassing sexual acts, this may mean that Hannity has some skeletons in his closet, but see above. Maybe I am missing something, but I don't see this moving the needle much in either direction.

Cohens lawyer saying the FBI picked up Trump Org documents

Because the genius confirmed his payments from his Trump Org email address.  Trump is a magnet for drooling morons.

Assuming that Hannity is a client of Cohen, what type of legal advice or perspective can Cohen give?  He seems to be an expert on paying off women and maybe about owning a fleet of taxi cabs. I suppose he knows something in regards to real estate law.

Can Fox really allow Hannity to cover this entire topic when he is now a direct party to a criminal investigation?  His lawyer (Cohen), accordingly to Cohen , had documents related to Hannity taken by the DOJ.  I know Hannity declares himself to be outside the journalistic principles but this would seem to be a problem for Fox.

No I get it. I just don't like it. Again, Rush and Hannity do that shit a lot. I admit I've listened to them on occasion because the only news radio in my town plays those guys in the afternoon (I don't have satellite radio). They are fucking awful.
