I'm not a big soundtrack guy, but I thought the audio bed for Dunkirk was masterful.  Not exactly "music", but a big part of setting the story.

I think Big Lebowski deserves a mention simply for TVZ's version of "Dead Flowers"

Agreed. That score was great.

Tron legacy is a personal favorite.

At the time,  Top Gun was great.

The crow is a badass one as well.

This is the winner.  Can't believe I forgot this.

Not usually an instrumental guy but this was one of my favorite albums from last year.

Every  stinking song on this soundtrack was great.

American Graffiti has a great soundtrack. If I recall, it was a big part of the small budget Lucas had, but turned out to be a key part to the movie's success. Walter Murch did a fantastic job of using the soundtrack as a glue that sticks together the plots of the various friend groups. The soundtrack even has some Wolfman Jack bits it in.

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey is solid from top to bottom - Slaughter Winger, KISS, Neverland, Steve Vai, Faith No More, Megadeth, Primus, King's X

The Big Chill - 30+ songs heavy with Motown

Forrest Gump - 30+ songs spanning 3-4 decades

Wedding Singer - great 80s songs

Less Than Zero - featuring the Bangles version of Hazy Shade of Winter

I don't think I'd describe it as the "illest", but I really like listening to the Lost in Translation soundtrack.  It's good, mellow Sunday morning music while you're having your coffee.

My band plays "Lookin for Love" at damn near every gig.  Still gets people dancing.  Legit.

Yeah, can't believe I forgot this one. That movie is basically an extended late 60's music video.

I was going to post, but there's really not a soundtrack in the sense that you can buy the CD/Record/Download/whatever.

But, yeah, Fandango is as good as it gets imo.

Good call

Right fuckin' here...
