Introducing the new Head Coach of your Texas Longhorns, @CoachSchloss 🤘#HookEm

In football we have a coach that says all the right things and has gotten a bit better with on field adjustments each year. Baseball looks promising with the new guy. Freaking Beard and his bullshit is the one thing that has us stalled in just one program. Then again we are not Shaka stuck. After next year CDC should be able to take care of it. In CDC we trust!

Okay, so can someone catch me up on the Pierce story that, along with his shitty coaching, supposedly led to his downfall? According to FCB, (I was listening to Texas Sports Unfiltered on YouTube - shoutout to Brad Kelner) Pierce had a meltdown with a player and kicked the dude off the team. The team apparently wasn't thrilled with this move and there was some sort of rebellion amongst the players, with them demanding he re-instate the player. The player was put back on the team the same day.

Can anyone provide any more info?

Goddamn. I fully expect a new line item in next years athletic's budget just to cover the annual insurance  premium on CDC's gigantic balls.

CDC pulled off some Red Wedding shit the other day. The tower should have been lit last night while the Game of Thrones theme played.

Look man, forget about baseball coaches for a second.  He pulled Thujone out of retirement.  Show me a better accomplishment in the history of Texas ADs.

To further explain cemetery photo tweet...

The reference for those who don’t get it:““I drove down and I was in the Snook cemetery four or five hours because that was the one place I could hide out until he (Coach Schlossnagle) got home.”

#6673
Texas AD Chris Del Conte said he drove to College Station on Tuesday to meet with Jim Schlossnagle face to face. CDC said he waited outside a cemetery in Snook until Schlossnagle returned to his house. Drove there, picked Schloss up, and took him to Austin.

No CR:

Does any country have a really good President Chris Del Conte can hire away for America?

Cedric Golden seems like a douche bag.

Especially saying he called CDC a liar on his Tom Herman statement. Saying he said he would be back. From what I remember CDC said he was our coach which was true until he fired him. Also his idiotic take on NIL saying NCAA messed up by not restricting it more. He clearly does not read any court stories on NIL.

Oh it did. Look at the replies. They keep telling-posting the cemetery pic. Those stupid MFers have no idea what it means.

Chris Del Conte says they wanted to wait until today to put up SEC logos so they wouldn't lose focus on dominating the Big 12"Our goal was to win 20 conference championships...we won 15 out of 20, the most ever. We were focused on winning the Director's Cup, we won that."… https://t.co/x4lLlvSNfU

John Bianco (Sr. Assoc. AD for Communications) on His Best Texas Football Memories

Thank you for that video with JB. The guy that’s been behind the scenes for 3+ decades but goes unnoticed, except for seeing his name in the bylines of articles, videos, stories, and such. Such a great guy that’s devoted his time to the UT Brand.

I wish I’d have met him 20+ years ago, because he’s a guy I’d have loved to work for, supporting a school that I love and working in a “job” that might not have felt like work. Hook’em John Bianco and thank you.

Remember when that ass fungus Steve Patterson fired him?  Then Texas fired Patterson and rehired Bianco.  That seemed to work out better.

Now, Ass Fungus is a pretty damn good band name, but it might make work even better as a stadium chant, with the same tempo and crowd participation as Texas! Fight!

Ass! Fungus!

Imagine Gus and Joel trying to understand the crowd and figure out what they were chanting.

Remember when CDC did this...  😋

The Texas video board is playing the hits for Brett Yormark in their last Big 12 home game.

I do understand your sentiment, Chris… the criteria was set by DKR himself…The criteria is consensus, All America and player of the year…I’m not one to go against his wishes as we have so many players that are deserving but the criteria is the criteria..🫡🤘🏽 https://t.co/L4ZwsF6AWT

I agree...the criteria needs to be very strict for jersey retirment. IMO Colt's number shouldn't have been retired.
