February 27Feb 27 I’m sure some will disagree but I don’t get the resistance on logos on the field by CDC. I agree with not wanting them on jerseys. Our field doesn’t need to look like a European basketball jersey but I don’t see how a few corporate logos takes away from the pageantry of the stadium. It would be a huge money maker. February 27Feb 27 Love how CDC basically announced that Jim Davis is going to be the permanent president. That dude can go off script with the best of them.

But when we go back to grass I want it clean and crisp with minimal logos.

My thought is that it is top 4, with Tennessee, Oregon, and Alabama the other contenders. And not to salt the wound but if Beard is still at Texas it is easily #1.

March 23Mar 23 I think with Miller having more access to NIL he'll attract better players for his offensive scheme. They'll probably give him whatever he needs to be competitive. He's not a bad coach, and he was pretty good at Arizona, he just needs to get over the hump, which, imo, I think he can do with the UT logo. The logo itself has proven it will attract good to great players in all sports at the university.
March 24Mar 24 I still would ask CDC to make Billy Donovan say NO. Getting back into today’s SEC, with NIL access, I think he’d thrive in this landscape. Chicago is a dead future for him.Hook’em!!!
March 24Mar 24 My previous post is irrelevant, as I think in another post, Miller just got the job.Hook’em!!!

March 24Mar 24 Miller couldn’t get over the hump with top tier NIL at Arizona. He won multiple conference championships and made multiple elite 8’s though. If the only criteria to get over the hump is to win it all, not many have done that.

I do agree with this (I'm sure everyone does), but he'll get whatever he wants here. The are tons of coaches who have won it just once - Tom Izzo, Calipari, Scott Drew, Tony Bennet, Kevin Ollie, Jim Boeheim, Gary Williams, Tubby Smith, Jim Valva no, and the list goes on. I'm not saying Miller will win it all, just saying we've never won one in men's basketball, and there's still hope. Let's at least see what he can do. The game has changed, and maybe he can acctract better players with the UT logo.

Players drafted, recruiting rankings, playoff appearances/rankings, conference championship appearances/wins You know the things that matter.

As Bum Phillips said when some dumbass reporter asked if he thought Earl Campbell was in a class by himself, "Well, I don't know about that, but I do know it don't take long to call roll."
March 25Mar 25 I'm so grateful for how he handles the searches as well. No more embarrassing reports, delays, etc. He handles it behind the scene and move quickly. Great representative of the university.

March 25Mar 25 I don't have as lofty of expectations out of men's basketball as I do from football or baseball. For me, have a fun brand of offense that'll get butts in seats at Moody, finish in the top 25 every year, and make the 2nd weekend of The NCAA Tournament every now and again. Apparently, people who know better than me say Sean Miller can do all these things. I look forward to seeing for myself in person at a couple of games next season.

March 25Mar 25 Ok, change the name then. But the fact remains that it was a pretty good hire when not many people realized it.
