I made my way over to check it out as I’m still young enough to blend in. There may have been 100 students there last night.

Why do the tickets need to be wheel-chair accessible?  Those would be some very large tickets.

When is less actually more?   When they are real.

Agreed as long as the differential is within a cup size.

I like it, schools like ND/UT/USC/OU should claim all *NCAA recognized titles should be displayed, teams fought too hard for them just to be ignored...

I agree with that thought, as if you think about it all championship titles can be disputed pre playoff system...

Nope. I would be embarrased to see any of those claimed. Especially 1914, as we played nobody and were a backwater at the time.

Go fuck yourself hookem highlights, we are better than that.  I want no part of NCs as calculated by "computers" years after the fact. What am I? Aggy?

If a team didn't think it won a national championship at the time the games were played, it didn't win a national championship.   Doesn't matter what some computer guy calculates 80 years later.

Can still be disputed in its current form too

Yes agreed, as the CFP is currently no different than a playoff "invitational"...  No different than when the NCAA tournament started with only 8 teams...
Eventually the CFP should (and likely will) have just as many playoff teams as the divisions II & III as well, at least then the claim of champion isn't an Alabama&UCF by 2 schools...

After the conclusion of the 2010 tournament, there was speculation about increasing the tournament size to as many as 128 teams. On April 1, 2010, the NCAA announced that it was looking at expanding to 96 teams for 2011. On April 22, the NCAA announced a new television contract with CBS/Turner that expanded the field to 68 teams.

From 2011 to 2015, the round of 64 was deemed to be the second round; beginning in 2016, the round of 64 was again deemed to be the first round.

good

Hadn't thought about how the new student seating policy would prohibit them from other fesitivities.  That's definitely a bummer, but I'm not sure how to fix it.  Maybe offer some sort of attraction where the students are lining up?
