Picking up trash, that's what Walt did on Day 1 when Disneyland opened. His team saw him do it, and to this day you'll rarely find any trash in the Magic Kingdom or any Disney properties. #HornsUp my friend

Lulz, ol Jim has obviously never been backstage on Property.

Backstage doesn’t matter.  I’m sure you blaze backstage every day as without issue as long as you don’t make toe Goofy costume smell like ganja.

I doubt smelling like ganja would be that noticeable when those costumes most likely already smell like ass from the Florida humidity anyway.

Would be great to spend a day with CDC 🤘

If only we had our own TV network with the resources to chronicle something like this

Toe Goofy? Who the fuck is Toe Goofy?

Oh and blazing onstage is not a problem at least at WDW. As long as you got a med cert yer good to go.

Lady came through bag check with a purse full of it at Studios. Good stuff too you could smell it two bag check stations over. Security asked her about it, she produced a med cert and no problemo, have a magical day. Security were laughing about it in the break room.

Ps. Yer good to go IF you restrict your blazing to designated blazing areas. And if your roach clip will not double as a selfie stick.

That is the look of a person who is not only angry and unaware of her faults. But is sitting on a box of case law decisions daring someone to try and fire her.

In what way is tailgating in a parking garage a “home field advantage?” Christian, are you retarded?

No Forrest, his teacher says he’s one of the smartest kids in his class.

Same here! WTF, is Patterson still hanging around somewhere?

If the parking garages (jester) can support 5,000 lb. SUVs in each spot they certainly can carry the weight of a dozen or two people spread over a 400 sq/ft corner. They were not designed & built by aggy (one would hope).

I’d like To hear more about this change.

Shhhh. It’s just a ploy to get Christian to tailgate elsewhere so he can share his theories with others

It's a safety liability and egress issue. Parking garages were designed for parking cars, not mixing cars + hundreds of people hanging out and drinking.

Yeah.... think CDC doesn't want to mention fear of a tailgate accident and potential lawsuits...

But could it handle the weight of 2 dozen Plonskys?

It's about egress and liability, not weight limits (unless Plonsky is involved).

Of course, but no one cares what they do backstage. On the outside, Disney expects nothing less than perfection.

We don’t cook anything at our garage tailgate. And we clean up every speck of stuff. Plus we are out of the way in a corner.

#2527

Where are these masses of people? I park in the garage that lines up next to what used to be the old Bevo Boulevard and there's small groups of people in the corner that are tailgating out of the way but never seen it as an issue.  The people tailgating in the garage are in the corner out of the way but there's always going to be large amounts of people walking through the garage, walking all the way to one of the only 2 staircases there. I understand the sentiment and ain't really complaining but I don't think that rule is going to do anything to get people out of the way of vehicles in that tight ass garage.  I usually go all the way to the top level or two where no one else is and park facing the stadium and have a few beers with whoever I have brought to the game with me that week.  Can't have someone coming up to patrol for compliance of this new rule while we're trying to smoke a bowl in my truck 🤣

"Safety liability" - this is the real cause.

"Egress" - not even remotely an issue.  It's a parking garage...the entire structure is an egress ramp (just like the ramps at the stadium).

And it's definitely not structural (to 'Brat's point).  Structural loading of a garage is anywhere from 40-50psf uniform live load, and must support a single +/- 3,000 lb load (over a 4.5" square) anywhere vehicles can be.  No matter how many recruit's F250's & Plonsky's you cram in there, you'll not overload the structure.

Just because you can't police it doesn't mean we can't have a policy.  We absolutely should for our scholarships athletes.

Meanwhile, Mr. Concerned Fan decided that he doesn't actually want a policy after asking about it.

I almost forgot about this tl;dr article on Plonsky.  If only half of it is true (it’s from Chip Brown), she is worse than fake cancer.

The value of the program belongs to Bellmont, not the fans. Did you not get Peterson’s memo, or did you choose not to read it?

CDC doing all the right things. What a difference over Steve P.  Students and Fans first mentality, customer first, is what he is all about.
