Spoiler

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS 12) — A woman from Connecticut was dancing on the roof of her car before driving through two checkpoints near Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

Thirty-year-old Hannah Roemhild was dancing on top of her rented Jeep when Florida Highway Patrol approached her in the parking lot at The Breakers, according to deputies.

As FHP was approaching, Roemhild got into the Jeep. As she was trying to put the car in drive, the trooper smashed the window of the driver's side window trying to control the steering wheel, but Roemhild got away, authorities say.

As she drove down A1A, she blew past two checkpoints leading up to Mar-a-Lago while driving on the wrong side of the road.

PBSO believes she was going over 70 miles per hour.

Fearing for their safety and the safety of others, Secret Service agents fired their weapons, blowing out the back window of the Jeep. Nobody was struck by the bullets.

Authorities pursued Roemhild down Southern Blvd, but lost her when she crossed into West Palm Beach.

Deputies would lose Roemhild for a short period, where authorities believe she picked up another person. A FHP Trooper eventually discovered the vehicle heading north and pursued.

The trooper chased the opera singer to a Motel 6 off Australian Ave. and Center Park Dr. As she tried to run out of her car, the trooper was able to tackle her to the ground and place her under arrest.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw believes the woman was impaired, had no intention of going to Mar-a-Lago and that she may have been lost.

The sheriff said she will be charged with assault on a federal officer, deadly assault on sheriff's deputies, and traffic charges.

And, yes, hilarious indeed at the "unknown motive".

Oh yeah, "You just can't make this stuff up!"

Was she a great big fat person?

Edit:  dammit   Know how I know you didn't open the spoiler?

I'd say no, at least not yet, but you be the judge.  Here's another vid of cops prepping to load her into the car (and a "Blocked!  Blocked!")
