There will be plenty that offend one of us, but I'm pretty sure we'll all agree this one is pretty good:

I'm (not) looking forward to the political ads with my very far left parents in the room.

I admittedly like this one. Funny and daddy Wrecking Ball at the end. LOlz.

did you enjoy the horseshit propaganda ad from trump where he claimed to be a president who reunites families?

I meant it from the standpoint that I don't do politics around my family and friends and knew the ads would rile them up.  Kind of like how they apparently did to you.

CR is that way dude.

I did like the Alexa ad.  The "Charlie Day" one had promise but fell flat.

Bud was cool.

Too many of them were just over-the-top silly.

This was the best one.

Seeing how today was actually groundhog day that was on point. The Doritos one was good but seeing how old Sam Elliott is looking is damn sad. He'll always be sitting at the bar chatting up the Dude in my mind.

There’s zero creativity in all of them. Cameo by celebrity followed by unfunny shit... boom commercial done. What a waste of money by a lot of these companies

I said in the game thread I’d be cool with the super bowl commercials airing every single “this is SportsCenter” commercial. If we have to start repeating some then we have to start repeating some.

Yup, the bring back “x” to do a 30 second re-hash of some old movie is fucking dead as shit

a la ferris bueller a few years ago. Commercials this year sucked, but who gives a fuck... theyre commercials

That was the only one I can remember.  Of course, I'm usually doing man shit during the commercials.

Commercials are for getting up and taking a piss you fucking woman.

You may want to go see your doctor, man. Big boys can usually hold it for more than 15 minutes at a time.

Love how Scorsese can decry Marvel movies yet sell out for a Coke Energy commercial.

Truly arthouse.

pretty weak all around this year

Most of them were dry as hell.   Didn't like the Groundhog Day one.    The Tide spots with Charlie annoyed the fuck out of me.   I did kinda like the Lil Nas X Doritos spot.

it did rile me up.  the racist piece of shit president put out a propaganda ad that was a fucking lie and was insulting to the intelligence of anyone with an IQ above 2.  it pissed me the fuck off.  as it should have done for anyone who has been paying the fuck attention for the past 3 years.

To be fair, this is true of all political ads because they are directed at the typical American voter

I understand that there are people who hate football and think football is the most boring, pointless thing ever. But let me just say this. Anyone who actually has even a shred of interest in "seeing the commercials" or having any sort of opinion about the commercials during the Super Bowl is a boring as fuck human being.

At least there was no "Insure with Nationwide or your kids die" this year.

This is still one of the best Super Bowl commercials ever put to cellulose.

Most of the ads are too contrived and formulaic, to the post above. Bring back an old movie or celeb and milk it for some laughs. I wanted to like the MC Hammer and Bill Murray ads but hated them for that reason. I did like the Alexa ad, the Google ad (hit me in the feels with my own aging parents), and the Hyundai self parking ad. Oh, and of course the Nate Boyer YouTube ad.

Did you know the fucking Cloak Room is that way? >>>

I thought the Momoa ad was pretty great.

The only thought I had was I wonder how much Walmart paid in licensing for that early ad that had Star Wars and everything else in it.

Oh who am I kidding they probably got all the rights for free during purchasing negotiations.

the dipshit in charge had a prominently featured super bowl commercial, which is what this thread is about.  if you are so delicate that you can't handle anyone mentioning it, i suggest you might consider fucking off.

other than Sams worm mooustache, didn't find that one as entertaining as the cheetos and Rubicon

Perhaps, but I remember when about half the Super Bowl commercials were actually funny. That was long ago.  Now it seems nearly every commercial has to bow down and praise the emperor's new PC clothes.

Boring. I don't give a single shit, especially not about the perceived PC-ness or offensiveness of advertisements. Commercial breaks are for taking a piss, getting more food and drink, or checking Twitter.

I'm afraid you are in the minority here, fuckface

That was my first thought.    The space wasnt big enough for anyone else to get into their cars.

Yeah I'm in the burbs so I don't have to deal with small parking on daily basis.  I guess that's just the way it is in dense urban areas and people just deal with it?  Otherwise you are just screwing the guy to your right.

We used to do that to each other on purpose in college. Now kids won’t even have to try hard to pull that old prank. They have it so easy these days.

Nah, pointing out to the guy who’s knee he just dislocated, just how fucking much it hurts getting your knee dislocated in Roadhouse.

I don’t think I’d ever seen the word “cirkul” in my entire life before that commercial.  where the hell did that come from?

Next door neighbors did. Only reason I know is because they texted the block to see if anyone was missing a package.
