February 10Feb 10 As usual, the ads were mostly meh. I'm biased in that I'll always like those with Texas alums - MM and Glen Powell - showing out. I think John Hamm may have attended Texas as well. As the father of a high school senior, I def didn't need to see the one where the father sent his daughter off to college. Edited February 10Feb 10 by Knoxtnhorn
February 10Feb 10 John Hamm did attend Texas but basically left in disgrace after being arrested and placed on probation for some very serious hazing at the Sigma Nu fraternity, hazing that was bad enough to get the fraternity disbanded from UT campus. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2015/apr/10/mad-men-star-jon-hamm-was-charged-with-hazing-in-college-days

Cirkul water bottles were briefly quite popular among Doomlet's fourth grade class. Surprisingly, the kids seemed to tire of them quickly, and he's back to using just a regular water bottle.

February 10Feb 10 I liked the boob commercial. I for sure chuckled at the Stella Beckham commercial where Damon says my brother is a famous soccer player, but how famous... like Matt Damon famous... no only Ben Affleck famous... unfortunate.... that was good friend put down humor Edited February 10Feb 10 by AUS-97HORN
February 10Feb 10 I generally don’t like “message” ads by corporations but the Dove spot late in the game rang home. That 3 year old girl looked a lot like my oldest granddaughter, she’s now 10 and loves gymnastics and is working hard. Her sisters 7 and 5 are both athletic and doing gymnastics and swimming. The message that 1 in 2 girls quit athletics
February 11Feb 11 Popped a couple of gummies just before seeing the Mt Dew/ Seal ad and was like sheeeiiit, this stuff works fast.
