February 3, 20205 yr Ban the OP, delete the thread I didn't see the other XFL thread....please neg, it is deserved It isn't the OT season after all. Five days until the XFL kicks off it's season. First games is Saturday 2/8 as 2pm Seattle Dragons at DC Dragons (Washington DC) - this game is on ABC, bit it looks there are games on ABC, Fox, ESPN?, and FS1https://www.xfl.com/2020-schedule Are we picking teams based on where they play and where we live, or based on players that went to colleges we like, or uniforms, colors (maybe by cheerleaders and their outfits?) I mean I kinda thought about rooting for Houston - because I only lived there for 15+ years, I like their Oiler'esque logo, and that Connor Cook is there - but they have Aggie and Wolverine players too....tough choice. Oh what the hell Go Roughnecks Edited February 3, 20205 yr by Wally Fairway

February 3, 20205 yr I guess now I don't have to wonder what happened to Nick Brossette. I always thought he would at least be a backup in the NFL at the very least. Saw Darius James' name and Jerrod Heard (good for him). Edit: Patrick Vahe, too. Dang. Edited February 3, 20205 yr by Spider2YBanana
February 3, 20205 yr Kent Perkins is on a roster. All of aggys former RB's are on rosters, which makes me kinda chuckle. Trey Williams, Christine Michael, and Keith Ford.
February 3, 20205 yr I'm obviously going to watch...just to see if it's worth it. Dallas better not suck.

February 4, 20205 yr I'd root for St Louis on the basis of proximity (and just enjoying that town in general), but good lord is their nickname/logo/uni complete trash.

February 6, 20205 yr I can never get enough football, so this will definitely help get through the off season.

February 6, 20205 yr well i'll be damned, they did some good stuff on kickoff and punt, but double-foward pass? https://www.xfl.com/rules
February 6, 20205 yr So can we combine the threads or close one? I'm responding here to the link. I'm not sure I like the punt rule, it seems to do the opposite of what the kickoff rule is trying to do by making high speed hits more likely. I also wonder if the kickoff rule will have more return tds since the blocking is closer and you only need one seam. I really like the overtime rule. I hope we get to see it in week 1. But with the 1, 2, and 3 PAT rule, my guess is you won't see many overtimes since there really is no "safe" xp to tie a game, you might as well go for whatever you need to win. February 7, 20205 yr My friends all got tickets to the Renegades game Sunday, so I'm going. I don't know if it's an ironic thing or not. Will be cheering Heard on and interested to see Hal Mumme's offense.
February 7, 20205 yr Quote First games is Saturday Plural problems Moving on, Bud Adams would be pissed and suing over that Roughnecks logo if he weren't dead, so I'm all in.
