September 21, 20223 yr I loved episode 1 because of how weird it was. I loved episode 2 because of the massive pettiness of Earn juxtaposed with the extreme emotion he shared in therapy. Hats off to Donald Glover for some incredible acting. Yeah, I agree with all of this. Both really solid episodes, imo.
October 5, 20223 yr The D'Angelo/YWA episode was weird and one of the weaker episodes. The family episode was pretty damn good. I've been on group calls with my siblings that sounded like the one in this episode.
October 5, 20223 yr When the mom takes off with the Grandpa, that was a laugh out loud moment. Poor Clay Davis. He just wanted his alone time.
October 12, 20223 yr I needed to read up on that last episode because I didn't get it at all. Having never seen a Tyler Perry show or movie I didn't realize what was being criticized in the episode.
October 18, 20223 yr All the people in the mall pulling out handguns but no one can hit the shooter cracked me up.
October 18, 20223 yr And then it looked like they were shooting at each other and not the shooter. I thought the dude trying to start his rap career was going to take a bullet. Instead the shitty rapper saved Paperboi.

LOL That was my favorite part.

October 28, 20223 yr Holy shit.... What an amazing episode. "The blackest movie of all time..." Edited October 28, 20223 yr by NWBuck
November 11, 20223 yr Good finale. The return slot still in the counter at the sushi place cracked me up.

November 12, 20223 yr I'm gonna miss this show. I never knew exactly what I was going to see episode to episode, but I really enjoyed most of it. Such a unique show.
November 14, 20223 yr Paper Boi taking out a feral hog with an iron skillet was hilarious. Black people getting sunburn wasn't something I learned about until I was 35. Regarding the last episode, a small part of me was expecting to see LeVar Burton wake up Troy after they were taken hostage by pirates.

November 16, 20223 yr Paper Boi on Safe Farm was a really great episode. I did dig Darius' dep tank episode, but felt the ending could have been more momentous. Black Sushi vs Popeye's was a good storyline though. Will miss the absolute mystery box each episode of this show would bring. Respect, Glover brothers and Hiro Murai!
November 18, 20223 yr "You've been inside 35 minooooooooots" had me dying. I will miss this show for moments exactly like that one.
August 31, 20232 yr Been slow playing S4 partly bc I forgot my hulu password, and partly because I didn’t want the ride to end. Finished it last night. Standing ovation, hats off, bravo to the creators of one of the best television shows of the 21st century, and a genius work in the pantheon of Black art. You have an amazing spirit. Thank you for sharing your time with me.
