Probably because there were better movies than Scarface that year.

Scarface is pretty great but it’s pretty over the top and borderline campy.

Username checks out

well this is painfully unfunny

Sometimes I really want to bang Kristen Wiig. This is one of those times.

unexpected sideboob

Oh crap Karen from down the hall at work won. I'm surprised she had time with her selling weight loss products too.

These 2 have gone from funny to really fucking annoying in a few years.

When people inevitably bitch about the Oscars running long again, remember these "bits".

How did Pacino never win one for Scarface?

Cause that movie was garbage

show's already over?

I wouldn't call it garbage but it is certainly more along the lines of unintentional comedy.

Looks like she won an Oscar.  A few hundred Oscar Mayers

Yeah, absolutely no chance Kingsley wasn’t winning that one

Yes. But the greatest Oscars travesty of all time is Ghandi winning Best Costumes over Tron.

I'm embarrassed to say that I think Wiig is hilarious.

Why are you embarrassed? She’s hilarious and she and Maya are a great duo. This bit was not good, though.

No I mean I'm sitting here cracking up at even that bit. I recognize it's terrible, but I still loved it.

Meanwhile, Ricky Gervais still going on on Hollywood...

I didn't see the movie, but how exactly is the guy who played Mr. Rogers in a movie about Mr. Rogers a "supporting" actor?

Au contraire, he played that perfect.  Helped, but gave the man space to do it himself.  Best he could have done.

God if only he could get Karl Pilkington to host.

Cause it's not about him

Because the studio knew he had no chance in the lead category.

Because the reporter is the lead character.

The puppets didn't get nominated. Too many blacks and women.

Because Philip Jennings was the main character.

Wouldn't it be for an Emmy?

It was a series.

The wokeness. It’s all about the wokeness.

Wokeness, and celebrating rapist Kobe Bryant.

Maybe I am a basic bitch but I have not heard of any of these documentaries. I have watched about 7 or so this past year, guess they were not special enough.

Frank Capra also should have handed her a gift card to a decent department store. When you shop at Ross for your Oscar outfit it stands out

Daniel Tiger got robbed.
