February 10, 20205 yr Didn't a see a thread started but lots of big news going on in MLS this season. New CBA was signed last week and money again "should" be going up. Chicharito in LA now, MLS threatening to pull Nashville's charter since the mayor is blocking some stadium construction. Pizarro going to Miami from Monterrey. Also in today's news FC Dallas FO is still a big fucking embarrassment. Last year they had a sale on LAG jerseys when Zlatan came into town and now just hyping up opponents again.
February 19, 20205 yr Oh and this looks to be 20 straight years without an MLS team winning CONCACAF....oh look there is an MLS defense, 1-0 Leon.
February 19, 20205 yr Atlanta also down to CD Motagua in Honduras.... Edit: Martinez ties it up for Atlanta.
February 19, 20205 yr Not the best night for MLS. Road games and preseason will be the excuse, but a 2-0 L @ Leon by "the best team" LAFC and it could've been worse. Atlanta is set with a road tie and a goal, but still need wins vs Honduran teams. Montreal up tomorrow night and then NYCFC and Seattle on Thursday. Edited February 19, 20205 yr by SimonBolivar

February 28, 20205 yr MLS hasn't done that bad so far, but only LAFC has faced a Liga MX squad. Man we need a Liga MX/MLS Cup.
February 28, 20205 yr Seattle defender got away with only a yellow on a clothesline to the face of the opponent in the dying seconds. Not on to a shootout.
February 28, 20205 yr And just like that, LAFC scores twice and is leading 3-2 aggregate. LAFC Outshot them 22-7. 10 on goal vs 0. Seattle needs to win this.
February 28, 20205 yr Who thought I’d be glued to the tv watching Concacaf champions league on a Thursday night.

February 28, 20205 yr Yep. It has been damn good I just wish MLS could get their season going before the round of 16 starts.
February 29, 20205 yr The season is officially underway with DC and Colorado both looking like HS teams right now.
February 29, 20205 yr First time I've ever needed to use SAP for English on my TV, in order to watch the Dynamo-Galaxy game.

March 9, 20205 yr LAFC Philly is fucking great right now. 2-2 49th minute, two great free kick goals and a counter by Rossi.
April 15, 20205 yr FC Dallas is showing their debut game, 25 years ago, on their website. It's at the Cotton Bowl. Spanish language broadcast. Had no idea the great Andres Cantor called it. https://www.fcdallas.com/burndebut
June 6, 20205 yr MLS players took a nice fucking in the cba renegotiation. They had a nice deal pre-covid but never got ratified due to shutdown. Owners made them renegotiate and fucked them with no vaseline. https://www.espn.com/soccer/major-league-soccer/story/4106558/mls-may-have-won-the-cba-negotiations-but-for-some-players-the-damage-done-is-irreparable
June 25, 20205 yr Now that EPL is pretty much done now that Liverpool locked it up it’s the perfect time to turn our heads to MLS. Starts back July 8: https://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com
July 4, 20205 yr Everyone's at Disney and ... FC Dallas 6 players COVID positive Columbus 8 players positive after the entire team went under quarantine when two players tested positive.

July 9, 20205 yr They need to pipe in crowd noises like EPL does.Unfair advantage. Orlando is used to playing in front of no one.
