What was the O/U and the spread of that Northwestern/Mich St game? Has a Bad Beats written all over it with that last TD to end the game.

Yeah, but who got more ass? You or her?

And fire Derek Mason.

In high school? Definitely HER!

WTF? No dedicated UCLA v AZ thread? Bruins up 17-7 mid 2nd qtr

If you want a close game, KSU at the Baylor Tweetie Birds is a 2-pointer heading into the 4th quarter on ESPN2.

Of course they're pissed at having to wear that

Speaking of Bad Beats... Late TD by LSU killed those that bet on aggy😂😂😂

SVP Bad Beats...        20-7 aggy wins

LSU vs. Texas A&M spread: Texas A&M -15

LOL. She’s been on the team like a week and addresses the team at halftime.

Mason saw that 0-7 wasn't going to get him fired. So he pulled out the big guns. Let the soccer player(who's only been around for a few days) give the halftime speech and then squib kick. Worked like a charm. Now he can start his holiday shopping early and get those Christmas lights put up.

I'm sure the players who have been getting their ass kicked all season really appreciated her speech.

One hell of a kickoff

Not sure I'd tag this with #PlayLikeAGirl... that's not the kick you want showing up as the defining moment

Best part is she’s transferring to UNT next year. You’re no Kathy Ireland, sweetie.

Yeah, but I'd still hit it, and she's from Texas.

Sarah Fuller just won another award, some courage award in addition to player of the week.

What a joke.

Katie Hnida > April Goss > Sarah Fuller (in kicking talent and looks)

Fuller doesn't deserve to be mentioned with the other two. They could actually kick a football. Why is this such a big deal now?

I wouldn't rule out that Fuller can kick.  It will be cool when she does finally kick an XP or FG.  Its just hilarious what was given to her for simply putting the uniform on.

What is there to apologize about? Maybe to your mother/grandmother/sister.

The Bowl system needs a Group of 5 Championship Series...

(Cross-post)

Ratings for CFB are struggling and bowl games are losing their value.  Heard Joel Klatt recently discussing that there should be a G5 Playoff to help provide more interest in CFB since CFP really offers no opportunities for those conferences.  Might be fun for a few of the bowls to be involved in G5 Playoffs...

So just wondering what a G5 National Championship Series would look like this year??

Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Buffalo, Boise State, Ragin' Cajuns, UTSA  and others??

The absolute bullshit hypocracy of the Big 10  who made the decision to take all of Sept  & Oct off, giving themselves absolutely zero fallback in cas there were complications and demanding each team plays 6 conf games to qualify for the championship game is now "scrambling" to find a big 10 team they can play so they can qualify to play in the Big 10 Champ game....

which looks like its not possible.... so these cocksuckers are looking at the feasability of changing the min 6 games played requirement.

Fuck that.  you made the god damned rules and everyone in the Big 10 agreed.    Maybe if you cocksuckers had started 2 weeks earlier you could have solved this issue.

at this point, fuck it,  whoever the fuck gets top 4 gets in now.... I dont give a fuck if it ends up being 3 SEC teams and whoever wins the ND/ Clem game.

Tennessee: Tennessee coaches agreed to forgo bowl bonuses if the Vols are selected for a game, a move that will save the athletics department nearly $325,000, according to the Knoxville News-Sentinel. Tennessee is 2-6 this year.

I could see quite a few teams opting to not even waste time in some of the cheesy bowls games that do try to play. BC is the first to opt all the way out.

Boston College says it will not participate in a bowl game, becoming the first bowl-eligible team to announce it would not play in the postseason.

Athletic director Pat Kraft and coach Jeff Hafley said the decision was made as a team, after getting significant player input. They pointed to everything the players had to do to make it through a season during the coronavirus pandemic, including not being able to see friends and family after they returned to campus over the summer. In addition, there were no guarantees that any bowl they would have been selected to play in would go on as scheduled.

Since students returned to campus in late June, Boston College has administered more than 9,000 COVID-19 tests. Only one football player tested positive, in the final week of the regular season. Hafley said he noted during practice last week that his team was mentally and physically exhausted.

"For them to stay healthy and stay away from COVID, it took more out of them than anybody has any idea," Hafley said on a Zoom call with reporters. "They're worn out. As we look now with other teams continuing to battle COVID, it's getting worse, and for us to go through three weeks of practice, continue to stay healthy, continue to stay away from our families and then not know is the bowl game really going to happen? Are we going to miss Christmas with our families and then be told on the 25th that we're really not going to play?

"These kids want to play football, but 11 games, nine in a row at one point, without having their mom or dad there after the game to hug them or say hello, the mental health of these kids is more important to me than anything. We decided the biggest reward we could give these players was to be able to go and let them finish finals and go spend time with their families. They've earned it, and they deserve it."

Boston College ends its season 6-5. Its five ACC wins are its most since 2009.

I wish Hafley had more experience as a head coach -- if so it would be worth interviewing him to replace Mensa.

Wonder if TEXAS should just shut it down too and let players spend some time with their families during the holidays...
