XFL - Houston Roughnecks vs St. Louis Battlehawks (FS1)

Featured Replies

Such a fun atmosphere. Pj will be getting some looks in NFL. Really like this league. Good quality game in 3 hours. They can't keep merchandise in stock.

Badass Kenny Stabler shit.

I have enjoyed watching the Roughnecks so far. Maybe it’s because they’re a breath of fresh air from buttchin and the maddening mediocrity and stupidity of the Texans have shown since their season has ended. It also feels they’re tapping into our football history as a city with the Run N Shoot and oil derrick logo on the helmets. I bought and wore a Roughnecks t-shirt yesterday. I hope this league sticks and look forward to going to a game at TDECU.

Crowd was much bigger yesterday and people seriously getting in on the act - several groups wearing hard hats and oilfield jumpsuits.

Roughnecks play good ball in all phases of the game. Was a little worried early that St  Louis rush attack would take the game over but Dline responded well and had a solid game, considering.

PJ Walker is a real one. Every time he has the ball in his hands, the fans get excited - having good QB play is key to watchability. He’s a stud.

I was impressed with the atmosphere while watching yesterday.  Looked like the crowd was bigger than week 1, and people seemed into it.

Houston and DC seem like the class of the league so far.

PR or Marketing group needs to pick up on this and make merchandise available for the fan base while momentum is happening.

Awesome that Houston has 2 extremely electric and exciting QBs in Watson and Walker.

Seeing a Texas team kick Bob Stoops' phony Dallas ass is enjoyable.  Go Roughnecks.  Hal Mumme sucks and Landry Jones is comical as a QB.  I might even buy a ticket and drive to the game just to watch a Stoops sad.
