April 20, 20241 yr How much credit will Gary Patterson get if Baylor turns it around this year??? "To add even more experience to the defensive coaches’ room, former TCU head coach Gary Patterson, who turned the Horned Frogs into an elite defensive team in his tenure of more than 20 years, was hired as a senior consultant." https://wacotrib.com/sports/college/baylor/dave-aranda-baylor-football/article_22728084-fe90-11ee-949f-1f7f143e65e2.html
April 20, 20241 yr I was looking at Baylor’s schedule for 2024. Tarleton @Utah Air Force @Colorado BYU @ISU @TT Oklahoma State TCU @WVU @UH Kansas OSU, Utah and Kansas show up on pre-season ranking lists. I don’t think Utah is counted as a league game, but rather, a carryover from pre-league additions. I see one patsy in non-conference, a tossup and a likely loss. They’re going to have to be good to make a bowl (not that bowls matter very much anymore). What is the point of Baylor football now? To give lots and lots of development snaps to transfer portal prospects. It’s located in a talent rich area but only able to load up on large numbers of three star recruits. Some will be diamonds in the rough. Coach ‘em up, Dave! Edited April 20, 20241 yr by statsman
April 20, 20241 yr I have Baylor down as one of the 3 sure wins on Colorado’s schedule. This is going to be a really, really bad team. I’m kind of hoping for a return to the Kevin Steele era and we might just be getting that.
May 18, 20241 yr At first I was intrigued, but that accounts handle and lack of link suggests fake news

May 18, 20241 yr Yep. My bad on that. Guess it was so unsurprising I didn’t verify. I bought it because Kaplan retweeted it. Shame!

May 18, 20241 yr Chip and Joanna had the “over” on those bets. That’s how the Silos were created to help Baylor during the tough times. And my wife loves their show. It’s constantly on my MFng living room TV.Hook’em!!!

Aranda announced they will be having a regular practice with no scrimmage, but people can still come and watch. No 11 on 11, just drills. This season is going to be brutal if they aren't even organized enough to have a spring game. I worked with Drake (in the video) some. He's a Baylor alum and is getting really pissed. Drake is an absolute douche who is still upset that he got shut down from getting legit info.
May 19, 20241 yr It would not break my heart for Aranda to lose most of their games due to having no offense at all, and Dave to have an opportunity to step back to his DC role and move to Austin after PK's defense puts the NC trophy in our collection and PK gets his HC job at Colorado or Boise State or wherever.
August 19, 20241 yr I took the under of 5.5 wins for Baylor this season earlier today in Lake Charles. Feel pretty good about that one.

September 22, 20241 yr So giving up an uncovered Hail Mary to reach OT, and then somehow losing the ball milliseconds before scoring to extend the game in OT, isn't as impossible as I'd have told you 12 hours ago.
September 22, 20241 yr World champion choke job. Aranda magic. Edited September 22, 20241 yr by Horn80
September 22, 20241 yr I hadn’t checked this thread since October 13th, 2020. No I will not read it. Fuck you Baylor

They placed their chips on basketball but even with that handicap, I can't imagine Aranda survives this unless a turn around happens. It probably won't. Their O and D lines are G5 at best.
September 28, 20241 yr This is a terrible team and there’s very little hope for that to change anytime soon. They deserve every second of this Mormon beatdown.

September 28, 20241 yr That's what they bring home after Aranda's Vagina Cigar debacle in Colorado. No way he makes through the season. What are the odds he makes it to next week?

October 19, 20241 yr Wanted to watch the Baylor/Tech game today, but Beth Mowins is announcing. Can't listen to that!
May 30May 30 Not sure if anyone will open this, and it’s not football, but Baylor still producing trash human beings trash. Oh, and RIP Queso still. https://www.kwtx.com/2025/05/30/james-barnes-charged-after-dead-cats-found-hanging-waco-utility-line-may-20/ James Barnes, 22, a former Baylor University student arrested in the bizarre case of two dead cats found hanging from a utility line, killed both cats with a pellet gun and recorded himself throwing the cats over the line, an arrest warrant affidavit states. Barnes was arrested on May 30 in Waco and charged with cruelty to a non-livestock animal. “Baylor University is aware that a former Baylor student has turned himself in to the Waco Police Department – taking responsibility for a situation the University maintains is abhorrent and does not reflect Baylor’s Christian values,” Baylor University wrote in a statement emailed to KWTX. “We can confirm the individual graduated on May 17, and any other questions regarding the individual should be directed to the Waco Police Department.” On May 20, Waco Animal Control received a call about two dead cats hanging from telephone wires. The dead animals were found in the 1700 block of S. 9th Street near Bagby Avenue. Ciara Dunlap was driving past the intersection when her teenaged son pointed out something strange, what he thought was a pair of shoes hanging from a telephone wire. But, it wasn’t shoes. “As we were passing up the residence, he said ‘momma, there’s cats up there,’” she explained. An arrest warrant states two dead cats were found tied with a piece of string with a shoe attached to one end. “The cats were removed and an autopsy revealed that both cats had been shot in the head prior to being tied to the shoe and thrown over the line,” police wrote in the warrant. A Waco police detective received many tips indicating Barnes was the person responsible, and when the detective attempted to call Barnes, he instead received a call from Barnes’ attorney, who said his client would not be allowed to speak about the incident. The detective then spoke with two members of a local fraternity who both alleged Barnes killed the cats with a pellet gun, the warrant states. After he had killed the cats, he brought them to a house located on S 9th and him [Barnes] and another person recorded each other repeatedly trying to throw the cats over the lines until they finally were successful,” the detective wrote in the warrant. Barnes is being held at the McLennan County Jail on a $20,000 bond Edited May 30May 30 by Vito Andolini

June 19Jun 19 Much like the fictional Derry, Maine, there is an ancient and powerful evil under the surface of Waco, Texas. Occasionally it bubbles up and manifests in the physical world- a gunning down of an editorialist, a murder by a spirit group at halftime of a Baylor/A&M game, Branch Davidians, Dotson murder, Baylor football rapes, Twin Peaks shoot out,… I don’t know how the story of Chip and Joanna Gaines ends, but it will be horrific.
