Pretty soon cars like that will be so fast they never slow down under 60mph. Their 0-60 time will be so fast it’s infinite.

1250hp in the hands of your average person is dangerous, to say the least.

No real difference from the 800hp options we already have now. Either the electrical nannies keep you alive or you die instantly.

But you can't do a cool burnout leaving cars & coffee with traction control on.

What’s the point of having a gt if you don’t get sideways coming out of cars and coffee?

Opening the straight pipes and blipping the throttle continuously while cruising through the hood.

I guess I just don't understand the appeal of these crazy horsepower cars for the street. Give me 400-500 and I'm good.

You can have a lot of fun with 200-300 hp and a manual transmission, and you *probably* won’t kill yourself.

Partial PPF and full ceramic for the RR. Should make it easier to clean after the next off road session.

Oh, and one last thing about the cars I saw in St. Tropez and on the roads between Ettlingen and there.

Each of the past few years I have seen more and more Ford Rangers in Germany and France.

It’s kind of cool.

What is this?

It was briefly on track at RoadAmerica as a pace car to begin the vintage session.

Looks like a McLaren Elva. But I don't think they typically have a big fixed wing.  Maybe a track focused model?

As the proud owner of a wide body scat challenger (I mainly love the classic look)

You rich mf’ers suck balls with all of y’all’s badass whips!

I was driving my wife’s Subaru up here in Arkansas and have been consistently telling her, these roads would be fun in my car. [emoji20]

Mr. Doom, please accept my sincere apologies for the misinformation included in my previous post. The crow was quite delicious.

Man, I always loved the XJS, even if they were horribly unreliable.

I like how it's parked in the shade of a tree, where all mechanics would prefer it.

Our next door neighbor, when I was a kid, had what I think was the XJ four door series 3. It was about a 1990, or '91. And I always thought it was a beautiful car. But, as you guys said, horrible underneath its skin.

It was always broken down and had an electrical system infiltrated by gremlins. Beautiful car, when it was running, or when we just stood there and looked at it.

That’s what I’ve been told haha

Anyone else completely meh on Bugatti?  Nothing at all is appealing about those cars to me.  Not in the slightest.  Saw an all white one in the ATX spotters group on FB the other day that was the 1st one I ever thought...ok...I can see it...  but other than that, zero attraction to those cars at all.

I like it more than a lot of modern hypercars. I think the latest from Ferrari and Lamborghini are just uninteresting. It’s also iconic for what it was when it came out.

I get what you mean though, it’s a little weird looking and not classically beautiful. It’s also mostly talked about just in terms of top speed.

They’re remarkable machines, and not like this has any basis in the current reality, but I would have to own a half dozen Paganis before I could get around to buying a Bugatti.

I completely acknowledge their technological excellence, and I bet those W16 engines sound amazing.  I just don't find them aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

I pretty much don’t care for most super and hyper cars these days, regardless of make.

But I do also agree that Bugatti never for much for me. It would still be cool to see one in person, though.

Yeah, I respect the engineering and the performance but today's hypercars do nothing for me.  I think the Porsche 918/La Ferrari/P1 are the last ones I really liked.

I would never own any sports car at this point in my life, though.  They are useless where I live.

Same.  And I think if I won the big lottery and started collecting badass cars, I'd go more [recent] vintage:  Porsche 959, Ferrari 288 GTO, Lamborghini Diablo

No F40?

Has never done anything for me.  Would rather have a Testarossa than an F40.

That's how I feel about the F50 and Enzo.  But I love me some F40.

Yeahhhhhhh Testarossa or 512m. Best car posters ever. Followed by Diablo.

I took this as a Landcruiser joke with a typo at first.  FJ40 all day.

That’s basically what Ed has always done. His line is “I want to look like I won the lottery 20 years ago.” His orange Diablo sold yesterday for $400K.

He also got in trouble with campus police where he did those donuts, and now has to go find a pressure washer. 😂

Do you even Countach bro?

The Ferrari 458 broke my mind when it came out.  The 488 and its derivatives are still my dream cars.  I'm not so hot on Lambos, although I'd take one if you wanted to give it to me, or if I could play football.

In other breaking news, on Wednesday I spent just under $25K on a new Mazda, so I think I have a ways to go on the financial front before I should be posting in this thread.
