It's very pretty.

Yeah, I've been fooling around with it for a few months.

It's a bit of a departure from what you normally play.

It's part of a trilogy, a musical trilogy I'm working on in D minor which is the saddest of all keys, I find. People weep instantly when they hear it, and I don't know why.

It's very nice.

You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really. It's sort of...

What do you call this?

Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump".

love this movie.  there is a gut busting funny outtake that was originally only on the Criterion DVD of Bruno Kirby singing Sinatra in underwear while high.  Its on youtube now.

I love this movie, but that outtake belonged on the cutting room floor.

It's such a fine line between stupid and clever

of course it did.   doesn't make it any less funny.  Kirby was killing those guys.  they could barely hold it together.

"If I told them once, I told them a hundred times put 'Spinal Tap' first, put 'Puppet Show' last."

“Really, they're quite fearful, that's my theory. They see us on stage with tight trousers. We've got, you know, armadillos in our trousers

- Robert Plant.

You put a greased naked woman on all fours with a dog collar around her neck, and a leash, and a man's arm extended out up to here, holding onto the leash, and pushing a black glove in her face to sniff it. You don't find that offensive? You don't find that sexist?

This is 1982, Bobbi, c'mon!

That's right, it's 1982! Get out of the '60s. We don't have this mentality anymore.

Well, you should have seen the cover they wanted to do! It wasn't a glove, believe me.

the best part about that is all of them playing bass and smalls with the double neck bass.  4 bass guitars.  its that kind of stuff that makes this such genius.

I mean...who isn't a fan of some of their early British invasion work...still waiting on Jazz Odyssey to drop though

"we'd like to get the playing on about 19 hundred hours"

"what time is it now?"

"18 hundred 30 hours"

"so that's what, like, 50 hours?"
