But damn, they did it to me again last episode, this show is hilarious lol at the callback tonight. Seeing Dave's gf in a Pats uniform kinda ruined her for me 😕 Edited April 16, 20205 yr by TommyGufano
April 16, 20205 yr The simulation theory line had me rolling and my girlfriend looking at me confused.

April 24, 20205 yr I liked the episode but it was a scat joke and then dramatic boyfriend girlfriend stuff. I’d like more of the funny and refocus on his career.

April 30, 20205 yr Now THAT’S what I’m talking about. Awesome episode. I was cringing so bad and then they cut to the label meeting. The end was dope.

April 30, 20205 yr This was one of my favorite episodes of the series. The jail song was classic dicky lol, but now we’re getting to some of the real shit. That breakfast club interview actually happened:

June 29, 20205 yr I know nothing about Lil Dicky, but I heard enough good stuff about the show that I gave it a shot on Friday. Finished it last night. Really enjoyed it. A lot of the best stuff was already mentioned. I also loved the Todd Dillason/Ty Dolla $ign confusion with Mike. Killed me. I know that it wasn't the funniest episode, but the bookending of the song in Episode 9 was unbelievably good. It's a dumb show, but shows a lot of heart.
June 30, 20205 yr This show is really great! I don't think its dumb at all. It took a lot of risks with so many people in their first roles on TV, certainly Dave and GaTa were top notch for their first acting gigs.
June 30, 20205 yr I enjoyed the hell out of the show. Except Trippy Red. There's no way he's really a thing, right?

March 28, 20214 yr Damn. I’m Hella late. Binged this in two days fuck it was hilarious. When the next season out ? gettin caught with the sexy doll legs. Garage opening scene lmao
April 19, 20214 yr Back June 16 Guest stars will include Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Kyle Kuzma, Doja Cat, J Balvin and Kareem Abdul Jabbar
May 25, 20214 yr End of episode 3 (i think?) scene may have been the laugh of the year for me. Look forward to S2
May 25, 20214 yr “Jail” was the biggest for me. To cold open your season finale with that was fucking brave

I actually need to go back and watch the first few episodes - someone else sucked me into it while they were watching so I think I've only seen the last several.
June 17, 20214 yr Oh I totally forgot. Thanks for the reminder. (Yes, I'm aware I also posted the trailer so I should have known)

June 17, 20214 yr I watched both, I want to like it but it’s just stressful and uncomfortable the entire time. Lots of FX shows seem to end up with this vibe.
June 18, 20214 yr i think it's setting up the season-long conflict that dave has - he has writer's block (or may just be creatively bankrupt). the way they unveiled that near the end of episode one was genius. they built the tension forcing him to confess. nobody saw that coming.
June 18, 20214 yr Don’t want to set myself up for disappointment, but coordinating a surprise album release with the season finale (especially during a season centered around him releasing an album) seems like it would be a very Lil’ Dicky thing to do.
June 20, 20214 yr also the contrast between the autotune sessions was something. the first one was surprisingly catchy. the guy’s got good hooks.
