STEALING! How could you? Why do you think I took you to see all those "Police Academy" movies, FOR FUN? I DIDN'T HEAR ANYONE LAUGHING, DID YOU?

Sadly, it has always reminded me of one of the gomer's march songs.

Well, it is the same song.  Lack of self-awareness prevents them from realizing that when the corps plays it, the average person is remembering that hilarious scene where Commandant Lassard gets a blowy by Mahoney's hooker under the podium.

Why would it be annoying? Many many fine people have enjoyed hearing that song many many times!

When I first heard that Marge was joining the police academy, I thought it would be fun and zany, like that movie "Spaceballs." But instead it was dark and disturbing, like that movie "Police Academy."

I'm a bit young for the Police Academy movies, or at least I don't remember them much, but she was a strong presence in my young mind.

Watched this with my dad as a kid. Asked him what was going on in this scene. He didn't have an answer.

Nice speech!

that it was punky brewster’s grandpa made it all the funnier. That would be lost on any subsequent generation watching it.
