February 22, 20205 yr Shouldn't the basketball practice facility be adjacent to somewhere they actually play basketball?

You’re seeing it backwards. Maybe cdc is too distracted with fancy buildings? With all that loot, Shaka should be long gone.

This would put the practice facility on the arena's west side along the new Red River St. -The school hopes to complete the Moody Center and practice facility as soon as possible to make room for the expansion of the nearby Dell Medical School. As a result, the school is requesting to fund the practice facility by going into debt, with the hope that it will be repaid with future donations. This could make Shaka's buyout worth it if CDC feels that Shaka is the problem. The team needs to win to get donations. Edited February 27, 20205 yr by Pasken
February 27, 20205 yr Yeah, best way to get a good loan term sheet is to have service payments overtly dependent on donations on our wildly successful basketball program with inevitable leadership changes.

That's fair but I think the risk is motivated by the desire to expand the medical school and they have to demolish Erwin and Cooley to do that.
