June 28, 20232 yr The JYD episode was pretty good. I had no idea he and Dibiase were so close. That was sad about his daughter. And it had to be tough for her that he showed up too late for her graduation and then died in a car wreck on the way home.
July 24, 20232 yr The Adrian Adonis one was interesting. Pretty fucked up that after the car wreck that killed 3, someone came along and climbed into the water to rob his body. The side story about the wrestler who trained a bear to wrestle and then the bear went bear and went into the shower to maul his girlfriend to death was also pretty fucked up.
July 24, 20232 yr Adonis ep had a scene very similar to this. On 6/24/2023 at 4:56 PM, Dennis Taylor said: "He beat me up, took drugs all the time, would disappear for 3 or 4 days" "How do you want people to remember him?" "He was a great dad" "He was the world's greatest husband & father... Except when he was doing fucking mountains of coke." Abdullah one predictably sucked.
July 27, 20232 yr Bam Bam ep was better than most. Some fucking crazy ECW clips. Shitty fucking last memories for his daughter. His old lady could still get it.
August 2, 20232 yr Here’s my summation of tonight’s ep. Quote Bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, bro. Is Hulk still considered a god to the fans? He just looks like shit in all these, especially after never answering for himself. Not to mention Brooke is still the family’s best.
August 2, 20232 yr Author I really liked the Adrian Adonis and Bam Bam episodes. The Abdullah episode sucked ass.
August 9, 20232 yr The Marty Janetty one was pretty good. The highlight was the footage of him driving a police motor scooter into a hotel lobby and crashing into people.
September 14, 20232 yr Wrestlers on Netflix about struggling regional independent Ohio Valley Wrestling. We enjoyed it. Still have a couple eps to watch.

February 7, 20241 yr New season on March 5. These are the ten topics listed… Chris Adams Sensational Sherri Terry Gordy Black Saturday Chris Colt Sandman Earthquake Harley Race Buff Bagwell Brutus Beefcake
February 8, 20241 yr Off topic, but one of my favorite Mick Foley moments (this was on the Fox News Channel but it’s completely apolitical, so no CR):
February 8, 20241 yr Found these on Hulu or Amazon not long ago and watched them. Do they arrive there quickly after- is it vice?
March 6, 20241 yr Earthquake one was ok. He seemed like a really good guy. Him doing legit sumo in Japan and having a tiny Phillipina wife were the highlights for me. f cancer

That's the first Dark Side I remember that wasn't based on coke, pain pills, roids, womanizing, booze or F- all of the above. Tenta was pretty damn athletic for his size. My favorite part was probably Haku laughing his ass off at the Shockmaster scene. Edited March 7, 20241 yr by Dennis Taylor
March 7, 20241 yr Damn, that was a good episode. Beats the shit out of the Cactus Jack-type shit, but guess that would defeat the point of the series.

March 14, 20241 yr “Gentleman” Chris Adams ep should be good. In April 2000, Adams and his girlfriend of four months, Linda Kaphengst, were both found unconscious inside a friend's apartment, the victims of an overdose of the drug GHB and alcohol. Adams recovered, but 10 hours later, Kaphengst died at a local hospital.[5][12] He then lived in Rowlett with his new wife Karen and their 7-year-old daughter.[1] In June 2001, Adams turned himself in on a manslaughter charge that he was indicted on,[12] but while awaiting trial, on 7 October 2001, he was fatally shot in the chest with a .38 caliber handgun during a drunken brawl with a friend, William Brent "Booray" Parnell, at his home in Waxahachie, Texas. He was 46 years old.[1] Self-defense was claimed, and the gun owner was acquitted of all charges.[21] Following his death, Stone Cold Steve Austin stated "I'm sorry he got killed, but the guy did not have good karma."[6]
March 14, 20241 yr Two things would be better: Paste in plain text. Put the article in a quote box. You’re not new here.
March 14, 20241 yr This is how it looks to dark users. If you simply clicked ‘Paste in plain text’, that wouldn’t happen.
March 29, 20241 yr Another shit episode. This series must have an incredibly low budget. Maybe next week won’t suck.
April 3, 20241 yr Okay, the Harley Race episode was pretty goddamn good. More Jim Cornette always works.
April 3, 20241 yr Yeah that was good. I liked the stuff of him with Mr. Perfect's dad. I didn't know they were a team.

He and Stone Cold were Eskimo brothers, both were married to Jeannie. In fact Austin credits her with the Stone Cold moniker

Until they told their story, he tried to kill me or slapped me around or was a terrible person to everyone basically. It was definitely the most he was a good guy sad attempt by the people interviewed to be nice but the story I’m telling you not so much ever, I think. Stone Cold was right but he definitely had his demons too. Wonder if they will ever be balls enough to do his episode… He was literally stabbed by a porn star he was dating for being abusive and got arrested for abuse with Debra. April 18, 20241 yr I thought the episode was basically he was a great guy but a piece of shit when he started drinking or doing drugs which he unfortunately had issues with. That plus anger issues and I guess you get Dark Side-Gentleman Chris Adams.

That was the most “he was a great guy and father” but everyone basically describing how he was a piece of shit human so far. Also every wrestler and announcer I’ve ever heard talk about him outside of this show has said he was a terrible person.
April 24, 20241 yr Delete the Sherri Martel episode, thank me later for saving the 40-whatever minutes.

May 2, 20241 yr Yeah, season 3, episode 6. Sandman last night was your typical Extreme throwaway hour.
January 5Jan 5 Guess they’re done with wrestling, on to MMA now. Dark Side of the Cage premieres this Wednesday at 9 on Kimbo.
January 23Jan 23 Didn’t watch the Kimbo or Diego eps, but never heard of Evan Tanner. It was decent if you need to kill 44 minutes.
January 30Jan 30 I was wrong, Dark Side of the Ring will be back on March 25. These are the 10 subjects… Hell In A Cell Big Van Nader Tony Atlas Ludwig Borga Billy Jack Haynes ’Hot Stuff’ Eddie Gilbert ’Superstar’ Billy Graham Daffney The Original Sheik Muhammad Hassan Currently watching Dark Side of the Cage on TUF: Season 1, pretty good.

March 28Mar 28 Shit premiered Tuesday, it was something. I could easily google this, but I’ll ask you kids. Who was/is Undertaker, is he known otherwise? Also, Noelle Foley is quite attractive. Undertaker started out in World Class in Dallas as Texas Red. He was in WCW as Mean Mark. But was Undertaker for 30 years.
April 1Apr 1 Also a horns fan. Never really did anything publicly out of character until he retired a few years ago. I haven't watched it yet but I'm looking forward to this episode. That was a crazy match.
