That offense of theirs needs about a month of practice before it’s anything resembling average.
It was horr-i-bad against West Virginia.

Well. Have I got the team to play for you!

Glad to see the Covid test kit results at Baylor take just a week.

Meantime, the Rape test kit results at Baylor still take a decade.

On the other hand, I selfishly like those night games plus I would think those early games will be especially jarring for the players. How early they gonna have to get up and get there for those games?

It looks as though PAC has its standards set similar to that of XII:

The Funbelt Conference has taken over.

And it has been damned entertaining.

It's obvious the conferences that haven't started yet are going to be a massive clusterfuck.  It'll be funny to watch the B10 try to get OSU enough games in to snag a playoff spot.

But... I'd think a 6-0 Ohio State would get in over a 9-1 Oklahoma State, I'm not so sure it will matter unless OU or UT run the table for XII...

You can't hide from this, people will eventually realize that everyone is getting this virus. You've had plenty of time to prepare. Fix your diet, exercise, be diligent about your hygiene & stop blindly following any of these crooks. Baylor is a good and predictable example.

Actually just drink more beer. Seems to work for me.

As if we would get invited to a bowl that prestigious.

Looks like we get through this weekend with 94 of 99 match-ups between two power-5 opponents played on schedule

Not a math expert but I think that's almost 95 percent

Wiscy is out their QB1 QB2 QB3 and trending dangerously close to the 5% testing threshold the b1g gave for teams to stay under in order to play. The best part about it is with the 21 day mandatory shutdown, they won't just be not playing this game, but also the next 2 as well.

So, both Wiscy and Nebraska gain 5 spots in next weeks polls.

Not a shock since they have already started demolition on SDCCU/Qualcomm/the Murph.   With the reduced capacity restrictions, it would have been even worse financially to move it to smaller capacity Petco.

Yeah, we're getting pretty close to shutting this whole thing down.

Hadn't heard about Cincy having an issue with it. Maybe they'll miss some starters next weekend and SMU can button up a heavily asterisked conference title.

How close are we now?

Not sure. Looks like the B10 is already canceling games after one weekend.

No handies on the mountain for UNT

For a while it looked like there could be several hurricane cancellations, like we've seen in recent years, but teams have mostly dodged that bullet.

El Paso is getting rocked by covid right now. they've added nearly 3,000 cases in the last 2 days. They are nearly out of ICU beds in west Texas so its not a good place to be at this time.

good thing they waited until the end of October to start playing, that really helped

Big 10 football may be in danger.

Was Big XII football "in danger" due to any one of its postponed games?  Or the ACC?

1.  Look at a map.  Tell me where in the U.S. the biggest spikes in COVID cases is located.

2.  Look at a calendar.  Tell me when the Big 10 started playing games and when the Big 12/ACC started playing.

The Big 10 is gonna cancel more games in the coming weeks.  The situation up there ain't gonna get better in the winter.  At some point, the Big 10 may fall too far behind to even play games since the ACC, Big 12, and SEC had a bigger head start.

I'm sure Ohio State will make the playoffs if they finish 3-0, so the Big 10 will have done its job to get a team in the playoffs.  But as precautious as that conference was to even play, they'd shut it down if COVID cases continue to rise.

Completely different and stricter protocol in the B1G.  A player who tests positive faces 10-day isolation, followed by 11 more days until they can see the field.  So, yes it puts a team or player in much more danger of missing action than the XII, SEC or ACC.

Wish we could play UTEP again.

Yeah, that was a genius move!

Going to be intersesting to see how the b1g decides to crown the west champion if there is a 7-1 Purdue/Iowa/Minny vs a Wiscy team that may end up undefeated but with only 3 or 4 games played.

With the b1g rules as long as they stay over the covid percent (which has a rolling 21 days while testing positive Wiscy can't play. If this game was cancelled, next weeks will be as well, and more than likely their game 3 weeks from now against Michigan.

The Big 10 self sabotaged from the beginning. They setup arbitrary rules to make it harder to play and left no room in their schedule to make it up. It's pretty clear they are perfectly fine not having a season.

If Margot Robbie sex slave clones with $100 bills stuffing their orifices (orifi?) were falling from the sky in a CV-free world, El Paso would still be not a good place to be at this time.

Like the opposite of the old Most Interesting Man In The World radio commercials - whatever side of the tracks he’s on....that the right side of the tracks.

Well I would much rather be on the El Paso side of the tracks. This light brown haired gringo wouldn't feel safe walking down the streets in Juarez.

If Ohio State had the multiple tests Barry wouldn't say a thing.

Hindsight is funny eh? Would have been SO much better to have never taken a snap this season.

Or start in September and take it weekly like the other schools did.

Our understanding of the human heart and conditions that are affected by immune responses has evolved in 60 days. The mental gymnastics they are having to go through to avoid admitting they made up this BS excuse from the beginning to avoid general liability for playing is fascinating.

^ I agree. If the heart implications were that widespread, local govts would have been closing gyms and even recommending against outside cardio exercise for people who recovered.
