If Ohio State can't get six games in they can just scrimmage themselves and count it as a win. It worked for aggy.

True. And Ohio State has way more street cred than A&M. Maybe Ohio State should count it as two wins.

Didn't they know they were all supposed to roll around in the COVID back in June/July, so they'd all have it and be done with it by now?

Well, waiting until late October to start the season was fucking stupid, that’s for sure.

So MACtion was the real COVID vaccine all along?

Also, C-USA should be renamed COVID-USA for the rest of the season.

That doesn't seem correct.  For example, the SEC has three games that are still being played.  UK-Vandy, OM-SCar, Ark-UF.

Looking at those stats, MAC's the knife cutting up the argument that it's mostly about regional outbreaks.

But those ESPN announcers will keep preaching at us to don't dare suggest it might be tied to choices by individual players and staff.

To be fair, MAC sample size is small.

He's meaning total number of teams that have had a cancellation or postponement so far.

Friday Power Five report: After this week, 162 out of 180 games involving two Power-5 teams played on schedule (90.0 percent)

No scientific basis, but I think we're almost at the top of the current wave

Why the fuck was this not thought of as a contingency before the season started?

That's a great move by the SEC. They continue to lead all conferences in how to deal with this situation in getting as much of the season played as possible.

UCLA/Utah canceled.

May play Cal on Sunday at the RB.

Yep, quick pivot to a 9 am Sunday UCLA Cal game.

I get the thought, but just not sure it really makes a difference. Sure move the later game up, but your other opponent likely won't be open on the week you just opened up.

"Might" get you a game but that's a lot of dynamics going on... basically changing gears with less prep for opponent.  Just can't see coaches opting to do it.

Cool, Sunday college football

The fewer people who see us play the better.

I'll take it a step further and completely forget you're even playing on Sunday morning when I'm watching NFL pregame.

this is turning into basketball games at Clark Field back in the day.

whichever team is healthy:  "we got next."

With all the cancellations, this might be the year for G5 to bust up the CFP party.??

Hell yes! Sunday morning CFB? And at the Rose Bowl no less?? Sign me up!

Was that that shitty-ass game in the rain?  I distinctly recall listening to this game with a few of my friends at an apartment off Riverside.  I kept thinking, "Ok.  This is the point at which Texas will run off like 3 TDs in 2 mins."  Never happened.

Yes miserable rain.  And the network asked us to move the game to Sunday because MLB was on strike and that was supposed to be a playoff or world series timeslot. Just one more reason to despise MLB.

what happened to that LSU guy's website that had all the details for every single week in terms of kick-off time, broadcast network, and internet streaming options?  It was like a Saturday morning bible for me for the last 10 Autumns and now it's just gone?

Same thing happened to me the other day. Weird.

Seriously tho, the Big12 may suck ass when it comes to a football conference, but they've done pretty well with the rona so far.

Ultimately its up to individual schools to take care of their own shit, but still impressive.

Except for Baylor, but they probably didn't test potential rape victims for COVID.
