Need a badass attorney who specializes in contract law, specific to distribution of medical supplies.

Look, just because I tried to pass off sexy nurse costumes as medical supplies is no reason to get lawyers involved.

Got it taken care of.   Thank You for your responses.

Working on N95 mask procurement.

Anyone in that field who has been involved with this that wants more information, plz contact me privately, but the contract was written and endorsed yesterday.

Always like to look for good legal advice within the Longhorn network as it has served me well in the past.

And, no....I’m not that guy from Houston.  I represent the financing for a group having these manufactured in Shanghai.

lulz. you are going to get fleeced. make sure you deposit money to a chinese bank for extra legal protection.

Just a general note on the legal scenario in China.

It is difficult, but not impossible, to sue a Chinese company in China.  It is best to have a presence in China if you want to do so, meaning at least an agent or office there, if not a wholly owned subsidiary.

You can draft your contract to be enforceable in the US under US/state law.  However, Chinese never answer these suits, so you can take a big default judgment, which is not enforceable in China (foreign judgments are not enforceable in China, period).

In an IP context, that default judgment can have some utility as it can be used to halt imports from that Chinese company "at the border."  At least until it changes names or entities.

tl/dr China is asshole.

Cuidado amigo.
