April 12, 20187 yr A few mentions in the Steak thread brought this to mind (Eddie V's $1/$2 oysters and Al Biernat's which I haven't been to). What are your favorites? Appreciate both food and drink happy hours. What's the best outdoor/patio place with a great happy hour? Anywhere with live music? Across the street from my work is Tortaco, which has $3 draft beers and $2 off cocktails. Nice patio (for downtown) and good bar service. Free chips and salsa (warm green salsa, but I like it). I'm probably biased because it's so convenient for me. I like the daily deals at Bryan St. Tavern, but only been a couple times when the weather wasn't great. Have heard it's a good place to sit out back.
April 13, 20187 yr You're right by me then. I'm in Plaza of the Americas (North Tower). Love Tortaco. Usually get out of downtown for HH, though. Are you asking about "deals"? Uchi, I think, has a pretty good deal as does Hudson House on Lovers.
April 13, 20187 yr Boulevardiere Oyster and Champagne Happy Hour (half off glasses of wine and Champagne) on Wednesday. Oyster happy hour with all bottles of wine half off on Friday - smoking deal on the wine!
April 13, 20187 yr Really wish they would have done another Boulevardier where they put in Rapscallion. Not a fan of the latter but a big fan of the former.

July 27, 20187 yr Author Looking for the specifics on the Boulevardie deal brought me to this, which I figure is worth sharing for a few more oyster hh options: https://www.dallasobserver.com/restaurants/craving-oysters-try-these-seven-half-shell-happy-hours-in-dfw-8185812
August 9, 20187 yr What other good Downtown happy hours are there? I am at Fountainplace now and not a lot by me that I know offSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
August 9, 20187 yr Happiest Hour across Woodall Rodgers at Akard and Olive is your best bet. Otherwise, you have to head to Main Street.

Corrientes 348 is actually a decent option as well. Happy Hour Menu. Nice open bar/restaurant and they have a patio, although I've never sat on it. Only issue I really have with it is it's usually pretty empty, so bring your own friends. Not sure how long it's going to hang on. And as mentioned above, Tortaco.
August 12, 20187 yr Thanks dudes, where is Tortaco?Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkAt the corner of San Jacinto and Pearl downtown.
