Field looks about 40 yards too short.....  And not the right color of orange in the end zones.

That shit don’t look like it’ll be finished in 30 days.

Trying to watch a game in the south endzone while men in hard hats work around you will just be part of the game day experience this season!

It will be interesting to see how the Texas state shadow will play into whatever at the center of the field.

Men at work or men without hats? Who can it be now? Safety. Dance.

Players were smaller back then so they didn't need 100 yard fields

What are those cascading boxes between new and old stands?

Honestly that might have been bad ass to see built somewhere in the football world.  Kind of reminds me a cross between Solider Field in Chicago and the LA Coliseum.

"architectural and engineering necessities."

Damn if true them's the best seats in the house, at least the lower ones. Sky boxes suck way up over the field, I don't care how much they cost. Field boxes yo.

You have no perspective on the field at field level in the endzone.

It's what the drawings show ;)

Those are elevated. You'll be right on top of the corner of the field seeing over everything.

Last drawing I saw was some big open wall there, like side tunnels. Dumb. Now not dumb. Though it's going to be annoying if the people in those seats are annoying.

ButtFumble gave you the real answer to your initial question.

That's pretty close.  I wonder if Harvard even gets close to selling out that stadium these days, save when they play Yale.

Yeah, but can you win at night there?

If you have a flashlight maybe…

Gotta be. They are running the play to the short side of the field.

Princeton, I believe. If it were DKR, you'd see the RD WENTWORTH IS NOT OUR STANDARD banner in the shot flying behind a plane.

It appears to be Princeton’s Palmer Stadium, very nice back in the day. Much nicer than what we actually went with.

Ohio State actually went with a design somewhat similar to the one presented by Herbert Greene.

The old Palmer Stadium at Princeton.  Demolished in 1997.

I have an old post card with that illustration on it. I’ll show it to you if I ever come across it. Lol

It's a cool stadium but can't imagine those concrete stands/bleachers are none too comfortable w/out the aide of seat cushions or something similar.

So are the side screens (as seen in the renderings) next to the main screen happening or not? Seems like they'd already be up by now.
