April 25, 20205 yr My local Mexican joint had a big sign out front today, Margaritas to Go! Why, yes, I think I will, with a shot of Patron on top.

Got a bag of Sonic ice and made some mint juleps last night. Such awesome flavor from such a simple drink. 2 oz Angels' Envy, 4 sprigs mint, 2 sugar cubes muddled into the mint and a splash of water, and 2 dashes bitters. Might be my favorite tasting cocktail
April 27, 20205 yr Gallon of to go margaritas from Fri being finished tonight. Mixed in a sazerac, an eagle rare old fashioned, and an EHTSB last night. Been searching Amazon for julep cups, think I'll be hitting those next weekend, since I think that was supposed to be derby weekend? So might be hitting up sonic or maybe spring for a Lewis bag to ensure good ice.
May 1, 20205 yr My favorite bar in Lisbon (Cafe Klandestino) is starting to deliver via Uber in Lisbon. They posted their menu. They are doing a Brown Butter Negroni. They do that with a Brown Butter infused gin. I found out how to do that, and another bartender recommends using Citadelle. Come to find out, Citadelle does a barrell aged gin, which I think might go well with an infusion of brown butter. What say you?
May 1, 20205 yr Bottled in Bond in Frisco does (did?) a brown butter infused gin cocktail that was good. Can't remember exactly what it was since the last time I was there feels like years ago now.
May 2, 20205 yr I got a bottle of beefeater and did the infusion last night. We will see how it goes.

May 4, 20205 yr Been looking to incorporate a port into a cocktail since I love a good tawny. Made a port old fashioned with: 2 oz Rumble 1 oz Port . 5 oz maple syrup 4 dashes of bitters I dig it. Tastes like Coca-Cola Edited May 4, 20205 yr by SmokeyTheBear

May 9, 20205 yr Joined Shaker and Spoon, just to give it a try. Pretty impressed so far with the service, you use your favorite liquor and they provide the components. First cocktail is tasty as fuck.

I think it is funny that you think that women have to have a man in their life to be successful or feel good about themselves. Says a lot more about you than it does about me. And my assessment of you last night was correct. You are still a cunt. Fuck off. Edited May 13, 20205 yr by PenelopeWitherspoon

May 20, 20205 yr Grand Ascension. It's a fancy margarita. Equal parts (one ounce) strawberry syrup (I made my own), fresh lime juice, tequila, Grand Marnier. I garnished with salt and chile powder.
May 20, 20205 yr Today I've gone with: 1 lime 2.5 oz tequila 1.25 oz dry curacao a tispsquirt (unmeasured, totally random amount depending on my mood) of agave nectar put in shaker and shake til your hand is too cold to touch your veenah, pour in salt-rimmed glass, enjoy
December 31, 20204 yr Last day of the year and one of the few photos I managed to take before consuming the contents was this shot from last night. I don't set the stage very well so apologies for the tired looking limes, the paper towel, and the thirty year old wedding glassware but we did enjoy the contents: Empress Gin, tonic, and lime juice. Cheers! We may try a Mr. Snowman tonight if I get into the kitchen to make the clove syrup. If so, I'll try and up my presentation game...
