I searched but couldn't find anything. I've listened to them for a few years but man, these these three songs lately are just perfect.

I first saw them in 2016 at Telluride Bluegrass and they were perfect for the venue.  Just beautiful.  Saw them at Antone’s and ACL since then and both shows were great.  Wildfire, Wrecking Ball, Cavalry, and Settled Down are some other really good songs.   The story behind wildfire is really interesting and they touch on it in this interview:

Old Ties is one of my favorite songs ever. When it comes up on my phone I usually end up playing it 2 or 3 times. I’m glad I got to see them at Stubbs (inside), Antone’s and The Parish. For me seeing them in a large venue like ACL lost a bit intimacy. Good for them though.

Great cover:

Wolves is a great subtle protest song

big fan.  like these two a whole lot.

Their set at Old Settlers last year was one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. Electric atmosphere between the band and crowd. Went there not knowing more than a couple songs and left a big fan.

They pop up on spotify quite a bit for me and I'm a fan.  I like Cavalry.

i'm a big fan as well.  hey stranger, wildfire, and daylight are my three favorite songs of theirs.

I first came across them last year, enjoyed their music so much I saw them last time they were here in Dallas at the Kessler - damn good show.

  • 1 month later...

They released the Moody Theatre show from January yesterday.  It was the last live show I saw before everything shut down.  it was a really good show. The Hawk is a Mule story and song were great, can’t wait to give it a listen.
