April 24, 20205 yr Holy shit, you ain't kidding. It's near 100 and humid as fuck (not as muggy as it was earlier this week, but still). just in time to open Texas back up for business! I picked a bad week to quit showering.
April 24, 20205 yr 19 of these summers I've had. Moving north next week. I'll be begging for it in January.
April 24, 20205 yr Just did a quick run for Friday night beer from the corner store - maybe three minutes each direction. While it wasn't a big deal this time, wearing these masks are not going to be fun come summer when we're in full blown blastfurnace mode.
April 24, 20205 yr You just royally screwed us by not allowing me to restart my thread for year 3. God help us all.
April 24, 20205 yr Jim Spencer said the average temperature in Austin has increased four degrees in the past thirty years. That seems...considerable.

April 24, 20205 yr The lake is calling so bring it on. I'll be crying for mercy by early August. Edited April 24, 20205 yr by SimonBolivar

Took a short virtual happy hour on the patio earlier and was sweating by the end. Thought the forecast was only like 92 or something. Looks like back down to mid 80s this weekend at least, but then straight 90s all next week. I am sure it won't let up much from there for about six months. I am sure people will welcome the weather and at least the potential to curb the spread of coronavirus. By September I am sure I would inject myself with coronavirus to make it stop. Godspeed everyone.
April 25, 20205 yr There was no humidity today. The air heats rapidly. Calm down pussies it's only April.

April 25, 20205 yr You know a silver lining of this pandemic and a Texas summer? Wiminz are shedding clothes and they will be outside exercising in much larger numbers.
April 30, 20205 yr So, so, so glad I finally did something about it and moved. Going to make reading this thread a lot more fun for me, sorry ya'll.

May 4, 20205 yr Yeah, you know it’s gonna be a tough morning when your AC runs pretty hard overnight set at 68 in the beginning of May.

May 4, 20205 yr Y'all serious, Clarks? April weather was mostly glorious, and this weekend was nice. Supposed to be cooler later this week. I wish all Texas springs were this good.

Other than a couple of hot days here or there, it’s been pretty nice. Hell, the lows are supposed to be back in the 50’s this coming weekend. I’ll take it!
May 4, 20205 yr Yeah, I’m team “this is great weather”. Trying to soak up every minute of it because July, August, September, and the first couple of weeks of October will make me wonder why I live here.

May 4, 20205 yr June can get really hot but I’m usually not beaten down yet. I feel like our summers wear you out by how long they go on more than the actual number on the thermometer. I will hate 97 in September more than 105 in June.

Yep, every year around the 20th of June you start to think that maybe this year won't be so bad. Note: Offer void in 2011
