May 3, 20205 yr Fleetwood Mac “Rumours” beat The Eagles “Hotel California” for album of the year. Has there ever been a better 1-2 ever? Not in my book.

May 3, 20205 yr 1977 album, 1978 Grammy. Yeah, I'm that guy. I'm also curious as to how you determined Hotel California was #2 as only winners are announced?

The Grammy folks only have to find one album that's really great to give the Grammy to, and yet your list is a small subset of the total number awarded over the years. Those albums in the list are fine, with some that are great, like Sgt Peppers and Joshua Tree. But there are also a lot of spare ass albums on the list, which shouldn't happen given the thousands of albums that are created every single year.
