I office at home and I'm tired of having 2 monitors for my desktop and 2 monitors for my work computer. Seems a "KVM switch" is what I seek.

I wanna put 2 4K, display port monitors with one DVI (3 monitors total), and I don't see options for that. 2 display port KVM's are common, but I don't see any thing with a 3ed port of any kind.

Some help here? Tia

I use an iogear HDMI KVM for my primary monitor. Have one secondary monitor hooked in to the laptop, and a separate secondary hooked into the desktop.  So three monitors total. The primary switches between the two computer. Allows me to put a work webex or email up on one secondary and usually schwab on the desktop secondary, and toggle the primary between the two based on whether I am reading surly or doing work stuff.

I have 2 monitors connected to my work laptop and one of them is also connected to my home DT .  I just swap the logitech wireless USB connector between my DT tower and the laptop docking station to use the same mouse/keyboard.  Then have to switch the shared monitor input to either DT or laptop.  Not seemless, but not much of a PITA either.

Using synergy as suggested above or Mouse without borders will make it so you don't have to move the dongle back and forth. If I had a larger desk, I would run 4 monitors, 2 for work and 2 for home and use synergy to mouse across all 4.
